The analogy gave me goosebumps when I thought about it.
He literally jumped off without thinking about himself and his jump had nothing to do with his feelings and the hurt...boy it tore into his core...
TBH I cried a bit

That song was so awesome, his intensity -Manik ruled it like a Boss. His tears , his dilemma everything. I cried too, love, I did . He be such a Frankenstein😳 .

I don't like the shadow scene much. The idea of it, yes. The acting, not so much. 😆 Niti cries well, Parth doesn't- I'd rather see him raging and angry, he's very good at those.
But one of my favourite Musicana moments is when he sends Dhruv to comfort Nandini, and is on the edge the entire time they're together- he's actually biting his nails about it and desperately trying to convince himself that it was good that they were spending some time together. And at the end of it, he ends up questioning- Is it really good?
And then sends random guy to go call Dhruv back. 😆

What I liked was the introspection, the doubt, the confusion. The fact that he was actually questioning himself- it's something we rarely get to see in his character. It was what I wanted to see in Manik during and post Musicana. He turned into a A-grade Gadha after that till she punched him in the jungle, and while I enjoyed it immensely, I'd still have preferred some self-introspection from him, rather than constant angst.

@Genie: Lol. What I do here is nowhere near psychoanalysis, that's Doc's forte. And I was not his favourite student at all, I was the type he loved ragging. 😆

@Boxy - I like the idea of Shadow scene too much , it was the shadow that mattered, he was around her yet so far. The few moments of solace they both shared was great. i didn't see his tears, all I cared was his helplessness.
Ah that scene was good the first seeds of confusion, the introspection but it was all too new, the whole night , he just zombied his way, he saw her crying, he saw her anger , it all screamed to him that he was wrong, the carnage. I never wanted him to regret this night, remorse yes and repentance.
It came full circle for him though, he sent Dhruv to calm her down but then he again stopped Dhruv from dropping Nandu home.

@Boxy its so obvious you are an editor/critic/creative thingummyjiggy.😆
The shadow scene I thought was poignant because of the symbolism. The shadow...well I've got medical stuff running through my head so either you or Genie write about it. C'mon the symbolism is awesome sauce.
I'd forgotten the scene when he sends Dhruv and then has massive gastritis waiting for their return. I loved that one as well.
The scenes that I thought were gimmicky were the accidental kiss in car,the love on phone, the applying bandage on hand in hospital

He also could not stand Dhrub Sr standing with Nandini for a long time
The moment he saw them together normal he immediately called him "Dhruv performance ka time ho rha hai"

He liked simple and straight forward. No hassle, no mess. The last thing he liked beating was around the bush. That enough to get the fist of his love for uncomplicated? So just imagine how amazing that woman would've been who talked in big terms and explained the reasons for a common flu as if answering the Universe's mystery; the one who made him want to breathe more of the wise, factual air around her. The one he complicatedly and simply fell in love with.
