I don't think it's inconsistency per se, they are all growing up. So if they want to focus on a Manik free of his emotional baggage wrt Dhruv, he has to be away for a while. Also it is essential for Dhruv to venture out and make his own choices without Manik.

I think too many characters are also affecting the show. They are not able to do justice with all them at once.

@Boxy- Same , The moment he saw danger and her, he had no hesitation, this time , he was not conscious , looking for excuses or reasons ,he just went after her. Not Dhruv or fab5 nothing could stop him.

The tenderness, worry, concern , the way he checks her arms and then the hug, they both were so perfect.

The way she holds her hands to check- man , little nuances of love.

The stairs , their corner- he knew she will come to check him . Sigh.

Love is beautiful, especially if it's nurtured with so much TLC.

TFQ- Always a problem with ensemble cast, the thing is every character has couple of issues atleast.

For them to grow individually they have to be separate.

DhruNi as friends never made sense, he was in awe and she liked the idea of him. There is still respect but lot of awkwardness.

@VK - Dhruni as friends won't work when Abhi is introduced as the new friend. Also that dynamics is kind of awkward now , Nandini will be concious and Dhruv is trying to assure Alya that he is over his feelings, he is in different zone. i think once the relationship equations are settled they might go back to some rhythm.

@BI - ManRuv- inspite of relationship shit is way complicated . I feel Manik is kind of letting Dhruv be . He is protective but somewhere , he is not as burdened as he was before the sacrifice thing.

It's actually Dhruv as an individual character ,who is lagging behind. I don't know even the acting is off. He is emotionally shunted. Even his scenes with Alya are coming too contriving now. I don't know the guy is just left to play the baby role. i get his main problem is his fits but sometimes he just seems a bit emotionally insensitive , like today- he was so not affected that Nandini could have been badly hurt, nor is he around Alya when she went confronting her brother. Too much background is ruining him.

@Genie, VK: The thing is that ManRuv was such a BIG part of the show in the beginning. The complete neglect now seems grating. & Dhruv as an individual character is just so bleh, like you said, where everyone else in Fab-5 has shown progress. Which is sad because he used to be this quiet but observant guy in the beginning, who said some really meaningful stuff too. Who had legit fears about his medical condition and how it would affect any girl who came into his life. In other words, he was somewhat human, not this one-dimensional as we see right now.
