My problem's not with Dhruv's dependency or the lack of it, because that is an issue which will exist as long as his mystery connection with Rishabh isn't unveiled. My problem is the sudden dumbing down of what used to be a perceptive character. Who knew when his buddy was very disturbed about something, even if he didn't know what it was about. Who had these little rebelliious moments instead of being clueless all the time as he's now. It just irks me when I remember.

And the acting's not helping, yes.
