I'm a mere girl. I brood, I cry, I doubt myself. I fear the darkness as much as you do, but I've lived in love, and learnt to make my own light. I'd lulled myself into forgetting the silent black. Then I crashed against you, and everything plunged into darkness again. And I hated you for making me remember.

I have some scars from where I've been...
Friction creates fire. I'd always known it, but you made me live it. Your darkness lit sparks in me. I burnt, but you trusted my light, and your faith became a fuel for me. It made me embrace the darkness, because I knew you'd never let the fire in me go out. Your darkness...it became my freedom.

We can always be...
But then my old fear haunts me again. Can I trust your darkness when you are capable of breaking me so easily? You say you need me to show you the way, always, but how do I tell you of my need for you to catch me when I stumble?

How could we ever stay away?
Our meeting was like the Brownian motion, random, colliding, but our asynchrony led to the discovery of ourselves just like the random movement of particles in gas or liquid led to the discovery of atoms and coinage of molecules. Our meeting was pure chance, the romantics call it destiny or fate but I like to believe that it's a random event meant to be.
You've got eyes that can see right through me
You're not afraid of anything they've seen...
You saw something good in me and I knew I could believe what you saw because YOU saw it.
When you talk to me it gets ingrained into my psyche,I can resist your reasoning but I just can't stop it from getting incorporated into my action.
We are each other's shear stress, parallel, continuous, unyielding. And the most beautiful thing about this stress is that we emerged stronger because of each other.
I don't know how these cuts heal
But in you I found a right...
You push me to the brink ,but without hurting me you bring me right back. But the time I spent at the brink completes me in a way that can't be replicated by my own efforts.

Whatever's in there is yours to take...
You can light up the darkest recess of my brain by your sheer will and in doing so allow me to connect with my fears without being overwhelmed by it.
I've found someone with whom I can converse, contradict, confuse,clarify, crash, burn, cut and yet in those words I find my answers, my peace.

There is a darkness inside both of us, but only you can shine so bright that you envelop the darkness with your warmth. The light can fade but not your warmth...
I need you to be my fixed star that shows me the way,that is at rest relative to absolute space. Let everything around me be in constant chaos,constant cacophony but as long as I know that you are my inertial frame,I can feel safe again.

So, Doc heard this song, and she shared it with me. Both of us couldn't get it out of our heads, and we talked about the things it was making us feel. Meanwhile, Manik and Nandini had this beautiful conversation of their own. One thing led to another and we ended up with this new baby on our hands.
Some things which were left unsaid. Which he didn't have the words for. Which she couldn't bring herself to say. But then theirs is this constant stream of conversation, and they don't always need the words. But we do, so as the wise man on the show says, we 'read between the lines'. :-)
