Thanks for letting me know about the ghazal. It was such a heart soothing rendition by hariharan sir.The OS is beautiful and am simply in awe, as to how perfectly the lyrics stay in sync with the current scenario of Manan. You have brought out his inner turmoil and the accompanied numbing pain of remorse which has clouded his thoughts, in a very astounding manner.I can still hear her painful cries, for it tore my soul into pieces. Can we ever go back to what we were before? For I wish right now, this is the moment when you could rest your head on my shoulder and all of the world would just melt away. Just this one moment.These lines are pure brilliant .The realisation , which has struck him regarding his mindless actions that had inflicted so much pain , is again so poignant.Surrounded by hundreds ,but still feeling a sense of loneliness could be so heartwrenching and added to that, a sense of inferior complex sums pretty much the guy manik is..I love the OS mainly for the sheer simplicity and elegance,, it's him yearning for her love praying for a moment where they could forget the world and just belong with each other.This makes it so relatable and stays in tune with the characters.,the music again being the link as to what they are feeling is too good to be put into words.

Hariharan has such soulful voice.. it just grabs you... isn't it? And yesterday when I heard it, I realized that it fit Manik perfectly, at least his current stage in life. And for most of what I wrote, the credit goes to Tahir Faraz for writing such amazing and profound poem. Every two lines in the stanza packs such beauty, that you really cannot help but get inspired.
