Exactly for some time now Baba was all over the place emotionally. Now he is sorted, free , this Baba has learnt his lesson but he knows what gets to his Nandu to talk and fight. She is sort of giving up. Just like during the tree scene , he encouraged her by challenging her , here too he is going to resort to his tactics which he knows works on her to her talking about her feelings, hurt, them and everything.
