the similarity is only that - both love their ladies more than anything.😳

but i feel manik and parth are WAYYY better - why? coz manik has sooo many more shades ... and PARTH is sooo expressive...i feel he doesn't need dialogues sometimes...his expressions convey everything!!! ⭐️

Edward /Robert Pattinson has very same and predictable expressions...but Manik/Parth ...Be it the monster side - or the Majnu side - anger...hurt...hate... playful...flirty...loving ..caring.. protective...possessive ...jealous...smart /sharp...cunning...strong.. naughty..etc etc . even the charater flaws and pain...he brings the character to life with sooo many shades ...and done to perfection... PARTH is the new benchmark for acting skills!

Manik is human and a Teenager... he still has many flaws...
Edward is Perfection... the Peak...

No Comparision at all... he is the Ends all of Romatic Heroes for me...

As actors Robert Pattinson can learn thing or two from Parth...
and the actress was not all good... no comparision with Niti...

i feel Niti and Parth actually made KYY what it is...coz i dont think anyone could do justice to Manik-Nandini apart from them...i toh watch this show only because of them

Actually 50 shades of Grey was Fan Fiction of Twilight..😊

True that. Then the name was "Master of the universe"...

But no, I do not find similarities between Manik and Edward...

I have loved Edward when I was in my teens and as I am growing up, I can see how unreal he was...Edward seems an imagination, an almost perfect one but just that, an imagination. He is thinker, selfless, a poet, bored to death, but can't die. PASSIVE (reason for "wooden face" 😆) Almost someone who is living but not alive, hopeless...He himself says in midnight sun that...Till Bella didn't came in his life, his days and nights were the same, years just passing by...While that seems romantic, but as a HUMAN that would be depressing, unreal, as he doesn't have a life beyond Bella. I can't imagine what he would have done if Bella would have chosen Jacob and not him.

He is way too passive, way too selfless. He is an old soul trapped in a young body. The truth is that when I look back, Edward, to me, seems fragile...

While Manik is anything but that, he is venerable, but isn't fragile. His isn't an easy one to break, he won't let anyone to do that. He has walls around him, his heart guarded. He is fighter, aggressive and impulsive. Has flaws, is an extremist, hate or love, anything he does, feels is limitless...

He is dark, complex, arrogant. Manik his own insecurities, but you will never get to know them, only if you are someone who is close to him, very close, you may get a glimpse or two. But that is. He wears the bad guy title as a shining armor. His own words, "Main thori acha hoon, I am not good, I like to be bad."

Manik many time has gone out of his way to make sure he appears as a bad guy to others. Does what he feels like, He isn't an easy person to hurt, only some people has that kind of power over him can hurt him. He, has given only a few people that power over him. And even then if they hurt him, he makes sure they regret it. He isn't forgiving nor he forgets. Despite of the fact the he loves unconditionally, forgiving and forgetting is difficult for him to do.

He is the best friend to have, Protective and possessive over his people. When he loves someone, they become his to protect. They become his. That is why he is possessive. He will do anything for his people. As they are his, they are Him. He doesn't differentiate him and them. They are one. Every friend of his is important to him, more than himself.

Despite of the fact that he is old as they are, He is almost a father figure for his friends. They see him as the parent they don't have, would like to have. Manik is the one who unites them, holds them together, makes them feels belonged. He makes sure they have a parent in him. The one, to whom they can come when they are troubled, need help.

He is Mama bear for Dhruv, A father to Mukti...He made sure Cabir knows that he is loved, will always be loved, unconditionally, despite of what he does, is, will be...To Alya he has given his devotion and fidelity, for 7 long years...

He is their family...They are family because of him...

They all, even Nandini, everyone around him thinks "Manik hai na, woh sab kuch theek kar dega." As if anything is possible for him. Everyone around him look at him as someone who can guide them. He is the LEADER. He has the habit of demand and command. He likes to order around everyone.

He makes mistakes, learns from them, grows with time, is in evolution. His best is yet to come. He is a work in progress, a dream in relation...

Manik is Unique in his own way. He is REAL...

Bas? Itna kafi hai? Ya aur kuch bolon? 😃 lol

Hajnal I loved your reply...

If you don't mind I would love to debate it...

If you do mind, I am sorry.. I will stop...

He is way too passive, way too selfless. He is an old soul trapped in a young body. The truth is that when I look back, Edward, to me, seems fragile...

Actually in my view it's the complete opposite... Edward is in no way fragile... a person or in this case a vampire who could sacrifice his Love for her Safety and again do it to give her the choice to follow her heart, which might lead her to another man... Can never be 'Fragile'.

Such Devotion , such selflessness , such compassion is pure STRENGTH... STRENGTH in its purest form...!!!

Manik only looks tough from outside, but he is very 'Fragile' from inside, why did you think he built those walls... From inside he is a Hurt and Scared kid, he is scared of people bullying him, he is scared of losing , he is scared of being alone, he is scared of not being loved , he is scared of abandonment.

His impulsiveness , his anger , his recklessness, his aggressiveness, his arrogance, his violence are all Defensive mechanisms of the internal Hurt and Scared child.

Nandhini called him out perfectly... he is a coconut... Outside he puts up a show being strong... But inside he is Tender and 'Fragile'

Regarding the argument that he can be hurt only by the people he loves... isn't that same with Edward too... he can be hurt only by his Bella or his Family... No one stands a chance other than them.

And Edward too becomes what his Loved ones require of him...

He is a brother to Alice and Emmett, he is a son to Esme and Carlisle, he is a Friend to Jasper and ally to Jacob later.

Manik isn't real too...he is a fictional character like Edward... isn't he... one is a fictional Human and the other fictional Vampire... its only their characteristics that were put up in comparision.

Aur kuch bolo...😆
