I also think its works both ways - Its what they give to each other, fill intone missing parts of their lives, eventually, illustrating the balance in this relationship. If Nandu is the light, Manik is the guide for Nandani - She is equally as vulnerable, and broken inside, and that is something that doesnt come across too often, but there will be a time, where she'll be the one asking for a break, and will want to hide herself in his arms. Their ways of dealing with their own past has been different, and hence, they journey now is even more intriguing and beautiful to witness.
