He is actually pretty kind hearted at the basic level, he saved Nandu's fireflies when he didnt know who she was. He treats the helps in his house pretty nicely in contrast with Noyonika.

@CC - Manik is fundamentally a very kind and unassuming guy. like this rich kid has no qualms and is at complete ease with taxi guy and now the guard. It's like him mom issues have not turned him from respecting elders- he doesn't let one incident define an emotion. What a conflicted, amazing man.

I noticed it too. There was this warmth and affability. It actually is a good sight to see a man of Manik's stature and grandeur normally sipping tea leaning onto his car and having a heart-felt talk. Not only that but confirming things and asking "haina?". It was so beautiful.❤️
