Seduction, intimacy gaya BHAAD mein. THIS is why KY2 is number 1. - Page 3

So I wrote a post to match yours, in length only of course. Bear with my rambling.

This! This is why I love KY2, because it is so real, the characters are not one dimensional and stupid. They think and sort out misunderstandings by communicating, like people in real life.

Awesome post dude, just nothing to add. U totally voiced my opinion so easily and perfectly.

LOL I don't know about the number game much but today the show definitely showed that it's HATKE with the way Nandini orchestrated Manik's whole revelation...I've never seen something like this in any other desi show...aur kuch ho na ho, the female lead by default is the one that is made to lose her brains for MUs to fester and contrivances galore.

I've liked Nandini for her strength of character since I started watching this anyways but today she just earned a bigger fan in me...for once they let the INTELLIGENCE of a woman shine through...HALLELULJAH! Nandu FTW! That she was smart enough to piece the evidence together and figure out how to get him to reveal the truth on his own...UNPRECEDENTED on desi TV!


And yes, once she had the truth from the horse's mouth literally, all her stored up pain came welling out in the form of the punch and then the way she lashed out at him otherwise...such a HUMAN character this...be it in her strength, her vulnerability or her intelligence...Nandu is a girl to admire.


As for that "seduction"...lol sad that the creatives feel the need to advertise it in a titiliatory manner when the scene itself was anything but...do they feel people won't watch the show if they don't dangle such "carrots"? lol...

Like you said, the show is noteworthy for moments like this PUNCH, not for random "seduction" which btw was not even a patch on the beautiful confession/fireflies scene.


Manik ka kuch karo ab...lol bahut der gadha ban liya...he needs to make it up to Nandu BIG TIME.

Coming down to the episode:

Nandini is probably my favorite character on Indian Television EVER. I mean, BOOYAA!This girl is the bomb dot com. Give me a fiesty Nandu controlling her life and making her own decisions any day over the"hawt romance" (not that I don't enjoy that) But ahhh! Todays episode was like a breath of fresh air for my sadistic heart. It gave the sadist in me that thrill that no romance or hotness can match. Nandini controls her life. Not some Gadha Messiah Majnu wannabe Bhagwan. And Manik. *long sigh* still tries to spew out garbage. "I went through the same pain" -_- Nandu, now would be the appropriate time to land another one right across the other cheek. Yo, you went through the pain cause you chose the stupid road bruh! That's fine, you do whatever you want for yourself but Nandini will make her own decisions. I loved how she pointed that out. Dil ko sukoon mil gaya.

Manik *shakes my head* Such a fail. I mean, his act was so damn obvious and yes Manik, you will remain the biggest dumbo at the end of the day. Bade aaye dusro ko bewakoof aur dumb kehne wala. Look at you. His actions were such a dead give away from the very beginning. It doesn't take a genius to figure him out. As shallow and irredeemable Harshad is, he is always on point about Manik.

About Dhruv and Alya- Confession time: I dn;t find anythign sparkling and magnificent about them but as long as they stay out the Manik and Nandini's equation as a potential love angle, I'm good.Friendship and all, caring for Dhruv's attacks is fine but as long as they don't become potential love angles.Besides, the way Dhruv just opens up and flourishes with Alya around, that makes them good together. Its like Alya has seen shades of Dhruv and vice-versa that nobody else has. Similarly to Manik and Nandini. Dhruv considers Nandini as perfection but he hasn't seen sides of her that Manik has and even Alya hasn't seen sides of Manik in 7 years that Nandini has. At the end of the day, let me quote Cabir "Woh hi hoga jo kismat mein likha. Kismat ko koi nahi badal sakta mere dost"

Coming to the seduction. What was that? And that leave part! Woh kya tha?KYA THA WOH? bwahaha!😆 Who thought of that? Matlab, unintentional hilarity at its best. Not to mention how pathetically horribly the whole seduction/romantic scene was edited. I mean,come on.The precap was edited better than the actual scene in the episode. In the episode, it was cut and pasted all wonky with some added hilarity in between. They cut out the cheek kiss and the kiss on the other knuckle from the precap which was not shown today. It was just edited super poorly. Again, KY2 editing team *head-desk*... Chalo, but the punch and confrontation made up for everything. Main khush hoon. 😃

Yes Nandini does love him, otherwise she wouldn't be in the moment but she was the one in control. She could have easily given into the temptation, that "never" was very firm and straight from his heart but the fact that he could easily leave her for his best friend, not just leave her but take the memories away from, it was just horrible for her,
I know many people are feeling bad for Manik, I am too but the fact is he did deserve it. And Nandini has been reliving the "nandini mission accomplished" everyday. Yes we have seen Manik in pain afterwards but to Nandini this is all fresh news. The fact is that the man she loves didn't even respect her feelings and took her for granted. That hurts alot.
