I honestly don't understand at all why people think of this show as hormonal when clearly there are other shows that uses sex so much that it seems like a filler than something important to the plot (yes, I'm talking about you Vampire Diaries and 90210)! I think people just need to watch why something happens and not write it off because of "intimate scenes".

I honestly don't understand - KYY is something ground breaking when you consider Indian TV in general, and come on, are people to say that what is shown in KYY: the sex, the kissing, the homosexuality, the bullying etc etc, is this something that never happens in real life? And then there's those who complain WHY Indian TV is always regressive. Uh, hello?

I haven't watched this episode yet (blame MTV for not uploading it yet 😆) BUT I have read a lot of reviews and updates on what happened and I'm so glad what happened, happened: Nandini is fudging awesome, man. I don't think I can express it ENOUGH. She honestly kicks ass. I think the writers, the producers, the whole of MTV should just take a bow. I remember a lot of people were complaining of Manik's sacrifice, but damn; I actually didn't mind and I honestly would have never minded it if I knew this was on the way.

You're right, Manik Asshotra deserves that punch for treating Nandu like a toy! Can someone please just nominate Nandini as the president? 🤗

AND. YAY!

My other babes kissed!! I honestly don't know how it happened (still need to watch it!) but I honestly wanted them together! FINALLY THE SHIP HAS SAILED. You've honestly just explained all I feel about these two! Dhruv is so comfortable with her because everyone else just mollycoddles him! Alya allows him to be himself and she encourages him to step out of his shell and that's why I ship these two!

^This is about people calling out names to KY2 saying its just for 'hormone-driven-teenagers' and what not. -_- I always kept mum but it annoyed me to no extent.
And yes to whatever you said about Nandini! This is exactly why I love this girl so much! She is not weak, she doesn't get scared and fights back! She isn't someone who will wallow in self pity after a break up. She pick herself up, fights back, doesn't break. She is so realistic and so relatable. This is what sets KY2 apart from typical daily soaps.
I was legit CHEERING when she punched him. I love how she didn't get carried away an d gave gadha Manik what he deserves. I love how she spoke everything we've been saying for long now. That she is NOT a toy to be passed around and that he doesn't get be the one to decide her choices. AHHH! <3 Now she the kind of woman Indian TV needs. ❤️ Manik needs a LOT of fixing up to do. She is not going to give in easily. I am so excited.

Rafz, you know how much I loved this episode. Nandu be all sorts of awesome, the moral fortitude and courage this young girl shows, none of the female leads on Indian TV do and the thing is, its not like she is without compassion, she guages situations and acts accordingly.

This show has always been about the writing. Always. Yes there are kissing and intimacy scenes because they add to the plot and not for the sake of it. Because you know, people do kiss and make out and make love in real life. If people cant see it, its their loss.

I loved the episode, yes there are editing issues but I dont care about it. The message was the hero today, the message Cvs sent out , that you can be a kickass , self-respecting woman on Indian TV, you don't need to be a harridan all the time, you can have compassion and yet at the same time, make yourself heard. You can have a beautiful love story without excusing every damn shit the male lead does, love him but also call him out on his shit when needed and not pulling the wool over his damn stupid actions.

Loved DhrulYa also today and like you said they were two souls sharing their insecurities and then discovered they had something, nothing wrong in it. It happens in real too.

Love Nandini Murthy, she is all kinds of awesome, Manik's proper schooling today.😆
