Some observations from today's episode:

The fight between Fab5 and Harshad and others, Nandini goes to stop Manik, she says Manik and tries to stop him.

Subconsciously, she knows all the conversations she has had with Manik is not a lie, she knows she can control him.

She just needs to spend some time alone to figure out that something is not right.

Manik is her point of reference even when she confronts Harshad.Its his words about Harshad that she remembers

Even during the dance, she knows Manik is not comfortable,

He is not leaving her alone, she questions it alright but right now the hurt and pain is overcoming the logic.

I think we will see Nandini's realisation when she spends some time alone by herself but realisation should not equal to acceptance and forgiveness from her part easily.

Manik still has to answer for making decisions for her.

Her whole concentration during the fight was on him. She knew all said and done , he will back off once she mentioned Cabir. She understands how he functions. The entire time, they were glued to each other's eyes. She knows he is not leaving her. While confronting Harshad , she almost took his name.

I think it's the hurt, rightful one , she knows in her heart of hearts that it was not revenge but something else, he is not this mean but the thought of him still doing it and playing with her troubles her MORE.

Significantly, she is still comfortable with hi proximity, it's not like she is flinching away like she did initially but it's more anger , yet comfort , yet belonging for both of them.

It's troubling them, the pause. She is consumed with anger and hurt, hence not even bothering with answers or logic right now.

Her defiance is going to tear him APART .

She gets him, Catty. Despite all he is claiming to have to done to her, She still gets him, and always will. Even at this point, she seems to have to this right over him, and hence, only calls him to stop the fight.

Nandani is perhaps the only one who truly understands the guy, and how he functions. She knows exactly cords to use on this guy - no I don't mean this in the wrong way, but rather, positively, because in the end, she was doing only good for Fab5 and NH3. The moment she goes to stop the fight, quite a few times, Manik and her are the ones who share that look, and when he picks up the fight again, You can tell she is mighty pissed at him for not being logical here. Hence, Cabir. She knows that if she mentions Cabir, he will back off. And, he does.

I hope it is the same understanding that will allow Nandani to connect the dots. We've all been asking for some introspection on her part at AT for the past week, and its really needed. If she can come to the conclusion about Harshad like this, she'll definitely know something is off with Manik - that look he gives her across the dance floor is actually, quite, don't know the exact word, but it was him looking directly into her soul. He could see through her and she could almost see through him as long as he lets that guard down. Regardless, I have faith that Nandani will connect the dots. Praying to Aiyappa to not want to see Manik's face isn't going to do anything Nandu - You both are Fated. Realization will come, but yes, I don't want her to give in easily...Hes going to have to learn to trust her and have faith in himself first before going ahead with her this time around.

This, its the hurt that he did this to her, that he is so disrespectful to what they have shared thats driving her right now. She knows him in and out, she knows how to make him back off, she knows she has a certain way with him. Its quite fascinating, if she knew it was about him just taking his revenge, she wouldn't involve herself in the Fab5/Nh3 equation anymore but she knows and she is going to give him hell.

Good observations!

I noticed that about Nandini too...she specifically only asked Manik to stop...subconsciously she still speaks to him like feels that right over him, knows the real him no matter what he says...and yes I also felt that Nandini noticed and was affected by him watching her during the dance...like she could sense the pain in his eyes and her eyes reflected the same.

Consciously Nandini is battling the pull she feels towards him...which is why she prays to not have to see his face again but her prayers aren't answered.

I'm not sure Nandini will get the alone time to process this by herself...I don't think she will realize anytime soon...Manik is the one who will probably realize and regret that he pushed her away like this and Nandini won't forgive him easily even if he tries to make amends then.

Also good point about Manik being Nandini's point of reference in every other scene...even in the previous epi after seeing Harshad's behavior, she then also wonders if Manik was right...today also she did the same...despite all the heartbreak and betrayal, their worlds revolve around each other.

Yeah I mean anyone in her position would behave like she did, after all Manik did use some harsh words to belittle their equation. But subsciously she knows him, knows that he will stop when she says so and he did.

Even her prayer was half-hearted, it was more like "why God why", why does he affect me so?

Yeah Nandini alone time is like a luxury right now and it doesn't help that Manik is there, looming like an overwhelming presence. Manik has to make to make the move and I don't want her to forgive him easily. More than the harsh words, its the fact that he doesn't allow her a choice that annoys me, I wouldn't like my man making crucial life decisions for me without consulting me and this bugs me a lot.

The prayer had so much irony, the fact that it was all about him indicates just how much she is consumed by his presence.

Manik is all sorts of contradictions right now, he was never in a place where he had to make a choice. it was simple- fab5 over everything , this is the only time that there is a trade-off which he doesn't want to be part of . Considering how his mom taught him and how he has made peace with the arrangement , this decision made sense to him. But the wrong of his choice is catching up, the gravity of it is striking him.

Nandu even if connects it all shouldn't forgive him. He broke her heart, he asked for her trust and she gave him. Yet he could never trust her , to share his troubles . This was about them being an "us" not an individual.

I forgot to add from Mon's episode, when Manik tells her that its because of her that Cabir's secret got revealed, she confidently tells him that he knows she doesn't do that sort of thing.

She knows that he trusts her... a point to ponder I think.

Now I rem and manik confirmed it also. He said he must hv tricked u. God in this show every single line held so much meaning in it. Hats off to cv's.

Valid points.
She was the one who involuntary try to stop manik.
During dance she knows that he is not comfortable and the broken look on her face . She wasn't liking he is dancing with Alia.
These two are perfection. The way they portray pain.. Kudos to them.
