And nobody starts following a show because of its proximity levels.
it's the storyline..
always the storyline
and a hot romance, physical closeness or not is a preference for many including me, which is not a bad thing, and it doesn't only comprises of "CLOSE PROXIMITY SCENES" most of us love the scenes where they bond and there's not one single scene, example the drunk and the curtain scene.
Well I feel I'm reading my own comment. I mentioned pakistani dramas and the chemistry of leads there two pages behind this.

Regarding me treating phisical closeness as a bad thing read P.S which I posted.
ANYWAY I'M LOVING THE SHOW.

"immature teenager fangirl."
Might I add horny like you wanted to put but didn't?
Shit, I should have read this signing off before, I wouldnt have wasted my time in replying.

Jiya, everyone does. I too do drool. not just on manan but sandhir, arshi, maneet, rishbala and parud and many many other couples.
I just said anything of too much is irritating.
I dont understand why are you misinterpreting my post based on some unrelated or misinterpreted replies by others?

guess i dint worded it properly..i dont think intimacy is only physical..u said other shows like JA and DABH dont survive on chemistry n intimacy..so i was questioning how come a show like Gulaal then dint survive which was strong in all departments plus an amazing chemistry... coz according to u it should have attracted all age grp even the teenage gals...but still got less fans n less TRP (BOTH)..so that was the point and not what u took out of it..and am stil not able to properly write it so not gonna stretch it further..

I watch the show for its content characters n not what is trending on twitter or FB and neither do i want to ponder on what CV's will do further..i will enjoy the show till it is doing justice to its characters...n if they dont i will move on as simple as that..

P.S i am not a psychology student...and i will ignore that personal comment of urs.

I watched the show gulaal. It had a different concept, but mainly i watched it for rahil azam. The story was really good - the story line execution was boring. Neil Bhatt acted superbly but if story is boring what can anyone do? The first thing for gec channels is story and its execution. There was another show called sajda in the same channel. the promo blew me off and superb acting by the cast but execution lacked that spunk.

Good to see you after MB forum --- Quite eloquently put post, I must say. I strongly disagree and agree on many of your points. Some of them I don't care about right now.

Being an Indian Tele show - The show will not pass on some of the clichs. We will just have to deal with those. But over all KY2 is the most hatke show on air as of now. And I don't think that the CVs care about what we yap on about here on the forums or give too much heed to the overenthusiastic crowd on twitter. They are sensible people who know what they are doing, and they know what they won't to do with their show even if we do not like it. I have seen them giving the most random scenes and dialogues and then making sense of it after next 30 episodes. I see how the most weird lines and expressions and interactions happening are somehow made sense of or connected later when we don't expect it at all. They have the general picture of what they want out of this show.

I will also be a hormonal teenager for some more months but my MaNan shipping won't go away with my adolescence. But, sometimes their scenes get too dragged and overbearing and this has been happening only for the last two weeks, so it's fine. Hopefully, we will be back on track. Majority of the episodes being wasted over one mushy lovey-dovey song sequence or an eye lock is not something I enjoy. MaNan became my favorite only because of the crispiness and realism in their scenes. Quality scenes in generous quantity are what made me fall in love with them. Overdose can give horrible hangovers.

Dhruv's character needs to be worked upon, seriously. He is a character whose mystery, whose personality and why it is like the way it is? It is the biggest mystery of the show. I hope they get back on the track or I will seriously lose interest in the whole Rishabh-Dhruv mystery. Instead, it has been used as an excuse to give more MaNan scenes. Dhruv and Rishabh's attack has been forgotten. Hopefully, with the end of Musicana, this is a track we will get to see more of.
I think many people have said that Manik's acts seem hypocritical at many times. But I think it is because of the kind of dynamics they share that Manik doesn't share his own burdens with the others. See, he is this guy who has got no love from his parents. His parents are not what a child needs, expect and craves for. I think with Dhruv coming into his life followed by the other three, instead of becoming just friends, he took on the guardian and caretaker role for them. A role his parents never fulfilled correctly. I know how his mind works. He wants to be everything to these kids that his own parents could never be to him. He just doesn't want to be like his parents in any ways. While Nayonnica says that every relationship is give and take, Manik does the exact opposite for the people he considers his family and has made it all about only give no take'. The parents, guardians, the caretakers - they don't share their own burdens with the kids. They hide it so that the kids won't worry. But they expect them to always share all of their burdens with them.
No one would be happier than I if Manik shares his thoughts and problems with the guys, but knowing Manik, he won't. People can't stop being the way they are so easily.
That they he told Dhruv that he finally understood why Dhruv kept a secret from him. He just wanted to have Alya's back just the way he had Manik's back after he couldn't share the fact that he missed his performance due to Nandini's brother. He didn't even tell Dhruv why he couldn't make it, but Dhruv trusts him anyways. Of course Manik trusts them, he lets himself be openly caring and protective in front of them without caring what they will think. Because they know that this is how Manik truly is, not the stoic cruel mask he wears and struts around in collage with.

Still, they don't stop him from doing it. I don't know why people say Fab5 is never there for Manik when he needs them. Manik pushes the away if they try to question him on why he is looking tired, angry, sad, down ... It is not as if they don't notice.
In fact Cabir is perceptive enough to see when something is going on in Manik's head - either it is happiness or sadness. But in the end if he asks - is that of any use? Manik will divert the whole subject or ask him to simply leave it or say don't worry I have it in control or say nothing at all. And why only Cabir, Alya saw him and asked hey, what is wrong? She could see the frustration on his face. She asked him to confide in her too. He again said nothing.
Manik pushes them away, not because he doesn't trust them but the guy genuinely thinks that they don't need to deal with his shit. That he can deal with his own and will help them deal with their shit too. All these years of the same kind of group dynamics, you can't just expect them to let go of. Manik thinks he is protecting them by not dumping his problems on them. Just like parent's think of their kids.
Fab5 trusts Manik to always be there for them because he has made them trust him. Always, he has made sure that they will turn to him and only him if any problem arises. So when they do not share their problems or hide something, he becomes angry like any parent would. But they all are used to Manik not wanting them to deal with his problems, he has always been like, I have it covered. No worries.Dont worry.Nohing to worry about,Nada.
So they have been there for him in their own ways. One message, they will leave anything and everything - be it a date or sleep or any other important work to get to Manik as soon as possible. Because as Cabir said, It's Manik, duh.
Manik is there for them because they let him. Manik will learn to do the same.

As for Harshad and Cabir --- I don't feel any sympathy at all for Cabir. I just have deep overwhelming empathy for the guy. I have loved him since the day he was introduced and will keep doing so. He has always been charming in his wacky frolics and hilarious reactions to almost everything. And as they say, what goes around comes around. So yes, his truth being exposed might be something many people think he deserves.
But the whole point of it is that being different, having a different sexuality, loving someone - that these things are a matter which are to be exposed' to shame people is truly upsetting.

And why I am so annoyed with Harshad is not because of the fact that he is showing a video of a private moment between two people so he can have his revenge. Obviously, his plans already failed. So just for some momentary pleasure he is showing the world a video of two people who are in love and are expressing it? He did what he did to Cabir, and didn't give a f**k about ruining the life of another person - Raghav. Who has been always supportive of Harshad, treated them equally and always jabbed at Fab5 and Cabir for their bullying ways.

What the hell had Raghav done to him to deserve that? Nothing. But as if Harshad could care any less. It is during the desperate times that you see the true faces of people.

And in the end, people like Harshad and Shahid - they are no different than fab5. They have been victimized (Not so sure about Harshad. He lies to Navya and Nandini in almost every conversation they have) and then they can laugh on a friend's humiliation and that of others. They might have been shown as the worst kind of people but that was just the way the world saw how Fab5 is. They Going closer, we got to see how they are when they are not being rebellious and spitting on the world. That is just the process of character development.
In the end they all are just a bunch of youngsters. All of them are bad, good and know how to be cruel and mean.
But my problem is how Harshad hides it all by pretending to be good, victimized and still strong and going. So Mukti bullied him and made him want to kill himself? Well, Mukti herself overdosed and according to Alya, they thought that they will lose her forever. I don't trust a word coming out of Harshad's mouth. He omits truths and outright lies and Navya is so nave (which he knows). All the pretentiousness went to hell when he lost - The way he treated Nandini and Navya showed his true face. I can see the clear difference between the self-proclaimed bad boys like Manik and Cabir and the supposed good guy that is Harshad.
Yeah, the way fab5 bullied and all their cruel actions -- it was not fun to watch. They drove Shahid to the point of suicide for posting some romantic stuff on Mukti's fb profile. And then targeted the two girls who saved him. But Manik had planned to save him.
The difference is how they never tried to justify what they were doing. They knew they are Bad' and they weren't hiding it behind some self-righteous mask of goodness and kindness. Cabir's camera was always in your face - never behind your back to capture your private life. Humiliating, embarrassing but never exposing' anything. They didn't just accept what they are doing; they practically threw it in your face that yes, we are like this, we are doing this, deal with it or not, none of our concern. And there was something charming about Cabir not trying to be charming, just acting plain evil with his overly done evil laugh and expressive face with hilarious comic timing and then going home to sleep in his Mom's bed and banter with her.

And music? Never did they try to win a stupid competition by tricks and games. They keep their music away from their personal lives and everything else. If Harshad is so beside himself with hatred then go push Manik down a hill - instead of f**king up his performance by trying to break his bones. Go break his bones just for the sake of it.
And what they did cannot be justified and shouldn't be. What is wrong is wrong.
But if Harshad has some kind of self declared burden on his shoulder of taking revenge for EVERYONE ever bullied and laughed at and made fun of and humiliated by Fab5 - not just his own blind hatred. Well, Cabir literally grew up with everyone around him laughing at homosexuals, humiliating them, saying the cruelest nonsensical stuff about gays - blindly hating them for no reason. So he took his own revenge and that of the whole gay community treated like a lower species, kept exploiting the world and their weakness and that too from up front. And If Cabir was wrong in doing that then who the f*ck is Harshad to be going around supposedly serving justice and taking revenge for the others?
Harshad has no friends, just pawns and acquaintances. Everyone around is his friend if they are not fab5 but he is no one's friend. You don't use your friends to fulfill your own tricks and f*ckery. More than Manik, Harshad follows the words of Nayonnica. It is all give and take. Yeah he loves his sister. But it is not above his hatred for her friends and her group. He will be everyone's friend till it serves his motives and helps him to get what he wants because that is the most important thing to him. While Fab5 may have the whole world as their enemy, but what friends they have are loved and cared for above everything else, including themselves. Everyone else can go jump in front of a train.

Medha dear. Good to see you sautan..😆
well I loved your post. simply mindblowing.
I loved how you disagreed to few of my points and put your words in a coherent manner.
I agree to them and loved them.
and yes, I loved how you even agreed to some of the points and gave apt examples, like fab5 always being there for manik thing and noticing his expressions.
And yes, the way you ended it - your last line - bang on! Fab-5 doesnt care for anyone as long as they are together.

Sautan? xD
Nah sis, you can have him and the million others ... I'll just admire from afar.

And thank you. I don't see why we can't have different views and opinions and still be friends. We all are watching the same show, we will obviously have different perceptions and will disagree on many stuff and agree on some more and then some.Doesn't mean we can't respect other peoples views or that they are any less than us for having a different opinions.
Thank you for expressing your own views in such a straightforward and elaborate manner. Just because I don't agree with few stuff doesn't mean I can't see where you are coming from.It was a treat to read it since it gave me a wider dimensional view of my own thoughts.
