Picking up the pieces and moving on

Another good episode today...so far this week has delivered with impactful/poignant scenes in pretty much every epi.

The shadow scene b/w Manik-Nandini today...very beautifully shot👏...the heartbreak, the yearning came out very touchingly...the silhouettes were used so well...Manik ofcourse couldn't stop himself from following her as he saw her crying so helplessly...and the urge to comfort her...that tiny moment where Nandini sensed it was him and just relaxed against his shadow, almost laying her head on his shoulder...both of them at peace for those brief moments, a smile on their faces before Manik moved away to avoid her actually seeing him...


Funniest bit for me today was the fact that Dhruv literally had to be COACHED by Manik to go console the girl he claims to love😆...that the group's performance was more important for him than Nandini's tears😆...and Manik on the other hand so restless due to those tears couldn't think of anything else other than finding out if she's ok...even if he had to coach Dhruv to go do it instead of him...lol

Niti cried very touchingly in that scene with Dhruv...as she's steeling herself not to cry for Manik...as for Dhruv...lol it's almost like he operates on his own planet...he didn't get the hint even when Nandu smiled sadly and said there won't be any second chances...just kept harping on about Musicana...that's what he thinks of Nandini? That she would cry itna phoot phoot ke over one fumble on stage? That's how "delicate" he thinks she is?😆

And then there's the strong Nandu that seems to be reserved only for Manik...who rises stronger than ever to push back at Manik and not give him the satisfaction of thinking he broke her...nothing pulls out Nandu's hidden strength more than a challenge from Manik...he thinks he broke her, then ofcourse she has to tell him he didn't...even if means climbing the stairs to that platform determinedly...lol

Once the template has been set, Nandu manages to build on it all by herself very well...jumping to the instant conclusion that Manik sabotaged her act on purpose by telling her everything just before her act..."You're so evil"...there she is, ready to believe the worse of him even when he doesn't even set up an evil act😆...but her words were prophetic...he will not be at peace anymore.


It's already started...he couldn't stand Dhruv-Nandini standing next to each other, he had to snap at Dhruv to make him come over...what would he have done if he'd seen Nandu hugging Dhruv?😆

And how long will these lowe lessons go on before Manik wakes up and smells the coffee with regards to Dhruv not knowing the first thing about actually loving and knowing Nandini either?😆

totally loved the shadow scene...it was shot so bfully..i loved how gently he was wiping of her tears...even if it was her shadow..mere presence of each other brought so much solace to them ..they think they can survive without each other???..nahi kabhi nahi 😆

I agree - while the last episodes have been relying so much on angst, there have been some really poignant scenes between MaNan that is still making their story move on. Can't say the same for Dhruv though. Its not love, for sure. Now Im doubting if its even Infatuation. What does he really feel for Nandani? The fact that Manik has to literally spell it out for Dhruv to go console Nandani defines the boundary of True Love. Manik is completely restless, and while he knows he can't go near here, damn his performance, all he wants to do is make sure she has a shoulder to cry on. Since he is on the "Be Bad, Make Dhruv the Saviour" Mantra, Dhruv is the person to do just that. Dhruv needs to be snapped out of the bubble he is in - While he may have given her the shoulder or handkerchief, was he actively really there? I doubt it. Anywho notice the streak of anger that passes by Manik when Dhruv says, "I hope she is fine"..."FINE? DHRUV, How can you hope...". Ahh Manik Baba, you are going to very soon realize that Dhruv is not the one for Nandani. Not the one.

If the Shadow scene signified comfort, tranquility, and solace, the last scene, where Nandani climbs the ladder, trips, yet doesn't accept his hand, and delivers those dialogues was all about fighting back, and telling the one guy whom you trusted and loved off. HELL YEAH. You go Girl. THIS is the Nandani that will break Manik, and make him eat back his words and his decision. She is no goat that can be passed on from here to there. She is human, and has the right to decide whom she loves and wants to be with. YET, my heart breaks when I see Manik wanting to comfort her behind the curtain, reaches out to her, almost as if he is wiping her tears, and then, runs away when she comes out and says "Manik". THAT for me did it. These two. Uff. You can go anywhere, run away or just avoid each other, but you will always seek comfort in each others arms.

If just seeing Nandani and Dhruv together can get Manik this restless...The guy is in for a struggle. How will he see them smiling and laughing from far? How? But before all of that and I guess through it all, I want Dhruv to propose and Nandani to find out and enter this loop so that while she would want to run back to Manik for putting their love through this, she will make him realize the importance of her in his life. This is going to be fun *rubs hands in glee*

AND, most importantly - I am honestly really appreciating this track. One, I do think the promises of trust, love and forever did come quite early for MaNan - it was almost as if they weren't able to grasp them, hence, this track is introduced for them to emerge stronger, understand each other, communicate with each other, respect each other, trust each other, and alas, love each other incandescently. I just hope though that the promises that were made will not be tainted or meddled with in this track - because I really don't know if they can be earned back between them both.

@bold: That was THE moment of the scene indeed...I especially loved the soft/seeking way in which Nandu said "Manik...?"...that moment was all heart...her heart sensed him and was expecting to see him outside too...but when she didn't see him there, it was confusion more than hurt...she so BELIEVED...somewhere that belief still lives on despite her being shattered otherwise.


And yes, Manik was damn restless throughout the epi...muttering to himself and barely managing to contain himself from going after Nandini...Dhruv was just being ridiculously obtuse and limp😕😕...this is the guy Manik wants to entrust Nandu to?🤔

Anyways I'm also glad to see a stronger Nandini emerge...I knew she would pick herself up again...she's always been stronger than Manik emotionally...she won't even have to lift a finger to break him...he's already broken...he suffers along with her, even more so cuz he is the cause of her suffering...

Your words remind me of the quote by Robert Brault - "Eventually soulmates meet, for they have the same hiding place.'

How true is that. No matter what they will always find a way back to each other. It could be hurt each other or to soothe each other, maybe even to catch a single glance. The ties that hold them together are throughly woven, impossible to sever, yet still fragile enough to be taken away in a blink of a eye.

abt dhruv moment..it was so funny na..bandha was so casual..i hope vo teek ho..and the moment Manik heard that..he was like..WTH is he saying...abhi bhi soch raha hai???..so restless he was 😆

but i donno why Dhruv was so casual ..kind of mixed feeling abt him..he was always concerned for nandu...not in a Manik way but in his own way..he was always there..he infact had even landed in her house to give that doll to make nandu happy..i guess that was friendship phase and this love ka confusion has made him tubelight...i dont expect him to be restless like manik but was expecting lil more from him...

and i totally in love with jealous Manik..its been just few hours only and this is Majnu Manik's halat..ab aage kya karega??? 😆 the way he called Dhruv 🤣..

and last scene was another fav scene..our nandu is back...loved the determination with which she was climbing those stairs..chutki se hai but she is very strong..and i love that abt nandu..

but the moment she called him eternal loser..oh man along with manik's heart my heart also sank..it was so pricking..yday's manik betrayal act was not this piercing for me atleast..may be coz we know he was doing it on purpose..

LOL I haven't seen enough of all Dhruv scenes to know how much they shifted his character but today he came across as totally clueless about the girl he claims to love...he was behaving like a dimwit who barely thought about Nandu until MANIK forced him to go after her.

Yeah felt bad for Manik in that last bit...Nandu ofcourse is projecting her hurt back at him...yeh toh hona hi tha...he has to bear the consequences of what he started...but still it was sad...Nandu's need to think the worst of him to fit her ideas of Monster Manik...I think she also did it to strengthen herself...loving him is her weakness...hating him makes her stronger and able to keep going...I liked how she didn't regret her innocence in all this...cuz it makes her who she is...

Right now, Nandu doesn't seem in any mood to help him or take help from him😆...like she refused his hand today to help herself up to the platform...gave him a withering look instead😆

I would be surprised if that happens tomorrow...but then kuch bhi ho sakta hai...they have to keep showing the soulmates connection naa...fate pulling them together despite their best efforts.

Arey bigger dhamaka is toh the Cabir news...Fab5 will be done for...I think the group will have to shatter totally for them to rebuild...and I wonder what the future holds for NH3 now with Harshad kinda showing his true colors to the girls.

even i loved the innocence factor she brought up..this show has been a surprise for me w.r.t nandu's character..i hope they keep her like that..!!!!

Yes, the show has surprised me pleasantly vis a vis characterization for Nandu and Manik both...in Nandu's case, she's not cliched in the typical "goody two shoes" type of female lead...I like that she is strong, has a mind of her own and doesn't shy away from expressing it...her innocence adds an endearing layer to all these traits of her...like a kid you feel like protecting...

lol that reminds me today Manik in restless mode was pondering why Nandu was crying like a kid and then uske dimaag ki batti jali that he messed her up for her performance and then he was beating himself over it all the more...

It struck me in that moment...how strong Manik's protective instinct is for her...he couldn't think beyond her tears...while Dhruv the limp noodle was mumbling something incomprehensibly about how "delicate" Nandu is...seriously does he know her AT all?😆
