You've captured Manik so well, and it made me a bit sad to read this because he really is broken and lonely spirit at heart. But, he's getting better with Nandini, right? I'm still in awe and I just hope you continue writing more because there's something magical about your writing, and it really did fit his characterization and his thoughts.

And I really love this sentence '''He always knew his friends would mean much more to him than he ever did to them'' because it's so true. Since he has experienced such loneliness and pretty much abandonment from the one who should love him the most (his mother), only he could ever really cherish those bonds, and he really does value his friends more than anything.

But this one allows comments so I'm just gonna gush about your words and your stories and your INCREDIBLE understanding of how the absolutely weird mind of Manik Malhotra works and how perfectly you understand MaNan.

The way they care about each other, even when they "hate" each other. The way they know each other better than the people who've known them their entire lives. The way he gets annoyed when she talks and laughs with his best friend but not him, and she gets annoyed when he doesn't look at her and fight with her, but they're not together, they're not even friends. The way he knows that one look at him when he's not got his guards up and she'll know everything, because she's the only one who knows him, and how he automatically reaches out to her in times of stress because he knows she won't ask for anything in return. The hug flashback in this OS, the sick call in Hamesha... And his happiness, the complete bliss, when he realizes that she feels the same about him, that no longer will he be alone. There is someone who will be his firefly and his star and fight the darkness with him...

You've got all the characters down perfectly (Cabir's teasing and Nandini's break-time in For Now, Nandini rushing to him when he's sick even if she's angry in Hamesha, Nandini-Abhi's casual talks in Suspended in Time, Nandini-Dhruv in Dysfunctional, and Nandini's confusion at Manik's aloofness in Dysfunctional), but Manik is definitely your speciality. The way you've analysed his character with your OSs...

I could fangirl over your words for a long time, but you're probably going to get bored (if you even read this) so just know that I hope you write more. Anything. But these two especially.

Also - Firebolt? An HP fan who writes so well... Definitely fangirling over your words.
