Well I am too much hooked to the show now. And specially Manik â¤ď¸
I wrote this piece of crap after that precap on friday đ¤Ł
This is the result of sleepless and over burdened with studies mind of mine đ
I wrote a drabble for first time, so I dont know how it is.
Anyways take this as a intro post than a drabble!
Happy reading!! đ
"Manik, come na", she moved her hand while trying to sleep at bonnet of his car. He smiled looking at her innocence. "Manik" she shouted again in her drunken voice. He went near her, "Nandini, get up, we need to go back home" he ordered. "No, I don't want to go home", she replied like a stubborn kid. "Nandini, it's enough now, get up" he tried pulling her down. But instead she pulled him up. He was sitting in the bonnet staring at her while she pushed him. They both lay down in the bonnet looking at the sky. There was complete silence. Nandini was busy counting the stars, while Manik was in his own world. He was not able to register the changes going on. Why he wanted to spend most of the time with her? Why he had a problem with Dhruv and her friendship? He wasn't able to understand why out of all he went to her after confronting Cabir. He looked at her side and couldn't help but smile, she was glaring at the stars. "What happened?" he asked softly. "I' am tired of counting the stars, they are so many" she pouted. He was amused with her innocent antics. "So what now?" he asked raising his eye brow. "So, I am not going to count them anymore, I will crush them and throw them away" she screamed. "Hey, cool down" he said holding her from not falling. She looked at him. "I hate them, they are so boring" she said blinking her big eyes. "Isse aache toh mere fireflies' hai" she declared proudly. "They are not that bad, I like them" he said looking at the stars. "They are so pretty, they keep on shining", he said while his eyes were praising the stars. Nandini was silently looking at him. She pulled his hand from behind his head and kept it straight. She rubbed his hand as if mobbing it, and slowly kept her head on his hand. His eyes widened by the closeness. "You like them?" she asked making herself comfortable in his arm, while he stared at her. "Manik, tum yeh stars ke chakkar pe mat padho" she said showing tongue to the stars. "Like how the fireflies' shine for me, I will shine for you" she said innocently. His eyes widened with surprise, while a smile crept in his face. She came even more close to him, closing her eyes. And even Manik closed his eyed expecting a kiss. But after a few moments, not feeling her lips on his, he opened his eyes to see the most beautiful sight. She was sleeping peacefully in his arms. He smiled and removed the strands of hair from her face.
"And in her smile, I see something more beautiful than the stars"
-Across the Universe by Beth Revis
He liked the stars, while she loved fireflies, both shines in the dark night. They both were same, while were different in their own way. And that's what makes them beautiful together.
"Baatein kuch unkahi si, kuch unsuni si hone lagi, kabu dil pe raha na, haasti hamari khone lagi...
Shayad yehi hai pyaar..."
