Well, this attitude towards Manik can also be attributed to the target age group of youth shows. People who wanted to get a simple, cute romance with a hint of gratuitous friendship will not understand the show or its characters. This show, while a youth show, needs to be watched by older and more sensible people.

All the characters are layered in the show and you need to a certain amount of maturity to uncover those layers TBH.

This, the thing with layered characters, you cannot go in with pre-conceived notions and when you are young, pre-conceived notions are for the most part your bread and butter unless you go actively looking for alternative opinions.

I loved how Nandu kept wacking his cheeks while calling him an idiot & then 'goood boyyy' lmao! I think we a wanted to do just that :P
