Sometimes I think of leaving. Then again I think country is made up of people, if I leave then am I not increasing the population of people with attitude that I don't approve or negative.

I am hoping for a change in my country_ positive change. Want to be present here when it happens. Want to be part of it. Currently am a passive participant in bringing positive change. 😊

But tell me whom does Indian s accept?
Marry against parents wishes- kill
People from lower caste - absolute right to torture
People from different communities - kill each other
Girl seen alone at day or night - don't want to mention what happens

Yes TV is a powerful media, that can bring about change. How it is perceived by viewers one can't control. So hoping it brings positive change.

Don't Feel unfortunate because you live in India. Issues you mentioned do exist but not everywhere in India. Each and every issue is place specific. I dont live in any big city, I live in a village in Assam. We have low literacy but people here have much healthier mentality compared to some places in Northern India where inter-caste marriage, girl-child abandonment, crime against woman are more or less normal thing. What I wanna say is that India is a giant country where each area is different than the other one so not all issues are found everywhere.
