Sometimes I think of leaving. Don't Feel unfortunate because you live in India. Issues you mentioned do exist but not everywhere in India. Each and every issue is place specific. I dont live in any big city, I live in a village in Assam. We have low literacy but people here have much healthier mentality compared to some places in Northern India where inter-caste marriage, girl-child abandonment, crime against woman are more or less normal thing. What I wanna say is that India is a giant country where each area is different than the other one so not all issues are found everywhere.
