Chapter One B.
Manik held his collar taut, while Dhruv loosened his grip. The football field was their regular venue to take out their pent up anger on each other. Seeing Dhruv loosen his grip, Manik smirked and jerked him away.
Manik shrug his shoulders as Mukti entered. He pulled her towards himself, screwing up Dhruv's already screwed mood. Once again Dhruv pushed Manik.
"So you finally had to call your Miss Savior, didn't you?" Dhruv laughed.
Mukti reacted before Manik could think of a witty reply, "How do these girls call you soft spoken and the most sopisticated boy of Royal Academy is what I fail to understand"
"Literary Prefect, you weren't invited her...so just stay AWAY" Dhruv's anger was rising, but would she stop?
They kept reminding each other how awful they were. Manik was no more in their fight, Mukti was enough to defend herself and Dhruv was enough to disgrace her. They kept bickering till she finally called his name.
"Fevistick" her voice was loud and clear. Dhruv shouted in reply, "Nandini, stay out of this. Go and attend the classes, I have to deal with her today."
Nandini held him by hand, dragged him to a corner and whispered.
"Just forget her. She isn't important. How can you miss lectures just because you want to fight buddy?"
"But I didn't" he tried to defend himself, but she was someone who never let him complete what he had to say.
"Just forget everything and come with me" saying so Nandini dragged Dhruv while Manik and Mukti side hugged.
Nandini's back hung on her shoulder while she walked slowly due to its weight. Dhruv held her hand gesturing her to stop and took her bag.
"If your back is hurting can you not ask me to carry it for you? Bloody Fevicol", he narrowed his eyes.
"We are late for the computer class" she said in a wary and all of a sudden felt a sudden pull.
They raced till the class and was asked to share the same computer which Navya was using. They hit each other before settling down while rolling their eyes at a lame joke of Navya.
Nandini suddenly realized that she had left her case study in her bag which she had to show Mr. Dhruv Aggarwal so that he could help her perform better.
She went towards her bag, unzipped it and tried to search for the papers, while she felt a stare. She turned and saw Manik standing near the Notice Board, tying to read but left quickly. She went towards the board to find out what he had been reading, only to discover blank pages pinned on the board.
That was so quick! :P
