Okay, before starting off, let me say today's episode was worth the wait while tomorrow's episode will be our death already.
Episode starts with Nandini checking her phone after realizing that Maanik was still absent from the scene. As expected the girl went all grieved when came in terms with her brother condition and went away. What I liked was that she didn't found it feasible enough to connect the dots as to why Maanik wasn't there. That is how any normal person would react when they see such message.
And once again, I am blown away by Maanik Malhotra. The moment he realizes that he needs to make his presence known on stage his mind worked at lightyear speed. Honestly, I didn't expected it to go such way, with Maanik singing through phone but to say I am impressed will be such a tremendous understatement. I was over the end of my wits seeing CVs using theirs. The best thing was that this guy didn't left Rishabh as I started assuming seeing the gravity of the situation. He gave him priority over his music though he balanced both very well. That was such an emotional moment seeing him bringing out his inner-self like that.
Now comes the thing for which I was praying like crazy to NOT happen - Cabir and Raghav eye lock, seems like it was asking sun to not making his presence known the next day in equatorial area. Okay, now I think I need to take back my words that there might be something else and not gay track. Although I am disappointed with that since I was hoping it to be something unpredictable, for which I am still rooting in a corner of my heart, but I am glad, if they are using gay track, to see them addressing such a huge and important problem to the mass. As we all know television in India is more powerful than Bollywood.
I am sure many of yours heart was in awe seeing Maanik cradling and caring Rishabh like a small child and singing simultaneously for him, just like he does for Dhruv. The whole song was perfect fit to the situation of everyone, Fab5, Maanik - Rishabh, MaNan. The smile, softness Maanik had while handling Rishabh was admirable. Now what to say about Maanik and Nandini scene? The relief Maanik had when he saw Nandini was superb and do I see gratitude and respect in Nandini's eyes for Maanik? Sure shot.
Okay, I did NOT like NH3 winning for that wasn't even Rock in first place. Duh! You know what makes me happy that they did not win solely for their singing but because of the fact that Maanik wasn't present there. I was rooting for Fab5 to win though.
And again we were back to kindergarten. I won't mention anything but one line that stood out in the whole ordeal, Harshad kabhi harta naehin hai.' The way that line was emphasized had me feeling that he is going to loose soon, quite badly at that. Not in terms of music but life. I don't know but I have gut feeling that something big is going to happen to him.
And I have wiped out the whole "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" scene except for the fact that Harshad did look visibly stumped seeing Navya go like that all of sudden confirming my assumption of his being blissfully unaware of Navya's feeling for him.
Okay, can someone tell me about the equation of Maanik and Noyonika till the time I actually see those episodes. I am oblivious to all that.
Did I mention how much I love Nandini's chachi? The way she makes Nandini go in all-realization mode is commendable. At least this girl shifted her mind from Rishabh to realize that she has someone to thank to. On Chachi's reminder Nandini was calling Maanik and then he switches off the phone, my mind was literally screaming "Its payback time girl."
Instead of Maanik, our Nandu got call of Navya and BAM, she hears the news of NH3 winning and happiness engulfs her. Gladly, that happiness was short lived as she recalled Maanik singing and on asking she got to know that it was just because of Rishabh that Maanik lost the competition and boy, did she felt bad? She went all into liability mode and felt that she has to go and thank Maanik and maybe apologize to him.
Finally, because of Dhruv covering up for Maanik did he realize his same action earlier wasn't for hurting him but covering up for Alya. I absolutely loved that even after the wedge drawn, Maanik went ahead and told Dhruv the Half-truth' of it not being Noyonika that kept him busy. Dhruv already knew it wasn't her but the eye-catching, ear-catching, mind-catching thing was the statement said by Maanik, "Some lies actually save friendship" and do I see lies coming in between both of them? Hell yeah.
Precap: No comments.
P.S. Niti looked really beautiful in precap.
