But i will still say that i didn't agree to the comparisons. You can't pick just one scene and start "comparing" . Manan had many (A LOT) scenes that made manik look like a criminal (since ragging makes you get legally punished). Well leave all that. I wanted to mean that Dhruni had a few beautiful scenes. During that friendship day occasion, Nandini visibly wanted dhruv to pick herself when that teacher was asking students to pick fellow classmates and make a pair, Dhruv was going to but 😆 ... So dhruni overall aren't awkward, as well as that restaurant sequence firstly their convo and then nandini singing for dhruv along with manik, you don't do that for someone you hesitate in front of.

You have all the right to stand by your comment and I appreciate that! Time has taught me that standing by your opinions without demeaning others is the mark of a wise person.

But still, allow me to add something further. I did not compare MaNan as a couple to DhruNi as a couple. Please don't take my "comparison" as comparison of a couple as general. I took a kind of scene which BOTH the couples shared and compared them. Start mein of course what Manik did to Nandini was monstrous and I've NEVER supported him there. I've never fangirled over MaNan during those monstrous scenes. Bits and pieces of it yeah, like Manik finding reasons to touch Nandini or him leaning down to face her but I have never taken those scenes and called them "hot" or anything because they were disgusting and treated them as then. Yes, of course DhruNi had beautiful scenes. In fact, only DhruNi had scenes which can be called beautiful. Back then Dhruv was the only light for Nandini. Her interactions with him made her happy. He literally was the only support for her. But it's unfair to cite DhruNi from that time and MaNan from that time and draw comparisons. By god, I didn't do that. Cuz uss waqt andha bhi dekh le just how much troublesome MaNan is and how wonderful DhruNi's prospect is.

I am taking DhruNi from this time, when they are amiable and officially friends, and MaNan from this time who are..well, let's say not-enemies. And I am comparing the similar scenes which they had in succession in this time. Not couples. Scenes. Similar scenes where the two of them talked and one nursed the other. I just compared what happened on Thursday to what happened on Monday. I am not disregarding DhruNi's past scenes nor MaNan's past ones. Past mein main jaa hi nahin rahi..I am going very recent here. Again, I didn't call DhruNi the COUPLE awkward, I called the SCENE which DhruNi had TODAY a bit awkward. That is not belittling them. It wasn't cringeworthy awkward, it was cutesy awkward. Like that sweet high school romance you get..uss type wala..

Well well. Got it. You didn't call Dhruni AS COUPLE awkward. 😊 I won't drag it more.
I have got my own general views on the show and characters. It's visible that I like Dhruv and that's why I like Dhruni too. But WAY WAY more than Dhruni I like Manik-Dhruv friendship. One has to be blessed to have a friend like how Manik is to Dhruv. I'm yet to like Manik as an individual. His earlier tortures had me have a heavy negative influence about him. Manik is changing that's true. But I will take more time to start liking him individually. And I have obvious reasons. I totally agree on Manan part, Nandini is surprisingly less-uncomfortable in front of Manik 😆 I know they are THE PAIR OF THE SHOW but still things from past have remained unsorted even till now. I'm a general viewer who doesn't really have favorites but finds Dhruni more lovable only because how different and better Dhruv has been to Nandini compared to Manik. And I Do think Dhruv deserves Nandini better. But hey that could change anytime. I'm waiting to see a "better person" Manik , who will genuinely feel sorry for his misdeeds in past. Manan are a wonderful pair and only Manik as an individual remains for me to be developed so that I can start liking Manan in general.

And thankfully he wasnt teasing Manik about spending time with Nandu. Manik cares for Nandu enough to ask his new friend(pretending not to know her name) to be wary of Harshad

I loved Rose today, she might be a bimbo for all practical purposes but she made the astute observation that none of the other Fab5 could catch because of their proximity to Alya and Manik. Alya and Manik do not look like a couple anymore. Alya takes off in a hissy fit, her face was beautiful to watch

People gossiping about Manik and Nandu, its bound to happen, after all they have had several spicy encounters and being locked in together for 8 hrs is after all extremely spicy. I kind of found it cute that Manik stood so protectively when those girls were questioning Nandu and some more snark from him Snarky Manik is my favourite version and of course he asks Nandu to throw away the jacket, he fulfilled my expectations. Amidst all that snark and sarcasm, Manik and Nandu were still lost in each other remembering the events of last night. I half expected Alya to catch them staring at each other.

Dhruv and Nandini's encounter was sweet, watching a concerned Dhruv blowing into Nandu's eyes was very sweet.

Raghav sir's punishment while most enjoyable to watch was also so stupid. And it seems no matter what the place or what the situation Manik and Nandu will always be drawn to each other.

I can't really warm up to Harshad, I know he has reasons to hate Fab5 but the fact that he doesnt care for Nandu or Navya or irks me to no end. After all he has spent a considerable amount of time with them and if like in the precap he's going for the guitar instead of saving Nandu, I will be very disappointed.

Let me not forget to mention all the stolen glances Manik keeps giving Nandu, its really really lovely to watch

I think tomorrow is going to bring about a panic-stricken Manik, his face in the precap itself was very telling, hope Nandu doesnt get seriously hurt.

On a side note, I would like to watch Alya, Mukti or Cabir find the sitar and play it in the competition.

So Noyonika, the hard hearted only listens to Raghav, wonder what the connection is?

Naah..one locked room is just a pinch of salt in the great course of Manik declaring his love for Nandu As you said, the guy is a humongous ego.

About Nandini handling Manik better than Alya, I think it's because Nandini doesn't question Manik. She just goes ahead and does it. Manik is the guy who doesn't like being questioned (god, I am saying this a lot nowadays..it has become my official analysis of Manik ka character ) and Alya keeps hammering him with questions and suspicions. He cares for her, definitely doesn't love her and specially doesn't want to hurt her but Manik can either take care of his ego or take care of someone else's. It takes him all the willpower to let go of his high horse he loves riding and show care for others. For reference, see Manik's super awkwardness when it comes to him caring for Nandini

This willingness to give in to Nandini marks the difference that Alya and Nandini have on Manik and in the long run, the turn their relationship will take. Of course both these relationships are to be very different. Manik will be extra caring for Nandini, at least in comparison to Alya and everyone will see that. Their relationship won't just end at showing up publically together. like Manik and Alya do, hand in hand. It would be the kind you can see from the eyes. Just thinking about it makes me feel bad for Alya now that I think about it. But khair, this difference is much needed.

Manik can only show his change in thoughts about Nandini to Dhruv and Dhruv is sensible enough to understand it without teasing. Manik totally changed this Nandini subject with Fab5 but with Dhruv, he went as far as to ask Dhruv to ask Nandini to be careful around Harshad. That tells a lot about the equation they share as friends.

There used to be a time when Manik-Alya's proximity was open for all to see but not anymore. Adding Manik's increasing obsession with Nandini to that, tongues are bound to be waged. And if Manik will start acting totally nonchalant about about the gossip, troubles would only be for Nandini. But khair, that is for the future 😆 For now we have the snarky Manik who has turned on the harmless kind of snark and thankfully let go on the immense hatred he had for Nandini and we the Nandini who stands up to him face on and then complains to her Aiyappa behind his back. And both of them haven't forgotten their experience in the locked room and think about it so for me, MaNan are in a great position now!

I was cheering for Dhruv and literally half expected him to back off any second. Thank god he didn't 😆 that would've been very anti-climatic. Though I did want Manik to somehow come there and fume in jealousy again xD What can I do?! I love that jealous Manik who doesn't know what to do when he sees Dhruv being so close to Nandini, specially now that he has given them his "blessings" 🤣

I guess we are at that phase of show now where anything and everything is a plot device to progress MaNan and our Triangle. The scene happened out of the blue, I'll admit but it was entertaining for me so meh..I'd let this ridiculously Indian telly trope of Jungle Exploration pass.

I like Harshad, despite his obvious using of Nandini and Navya, I like him. I don't think my opinion will change of him. He's the one guy who is completely selfish and unashamedly so. I would've hated him if his actions and treatment of characters wasn't backed up properly but it seems like he has a strong back story supporting his agenda. So my ultimate judgement is saved till we get to know his side completely. For me he is grey. He might be using Navya and Nandini but i like his behavior with Navya...at least he doesn't act all annoyed with her and plays along with her crazy hijinks. I find that rather sweet 😳

Tomorrow gonna be real important. Because Manik's panic or care or Nandini won't just be confined to him. Harshad will be there and he gonna use it big time! Since I am calling Harshad the mastermind and everyone else just his pawns, that really excites me. I am really looking forward to how Harshad will twist these latest developments and use them for his plan. He is very open about his plan - break Fab5. And a guy who is that open and adamant usually has nothing to lose and fear. Which makes for a rather interesting antagonist in any story..

Totally forgot! Dun want any personal connection between Nyonika and Raghav! RAGHAV SIRF CABIR KA HAI! SIRF CABIRR KAAA!! *shields the two of them protectively like Mamma Bear*

What I loved was that his change didn't seem OOC or it made him a different person altogether. He is still the same Manik who lives to be rude to Nandini and he is still the same guy who awkwardly told her to smile because that's all they can do after seeing their loved ones having such painful fits. He's just a little improved version of that 😆

At least Manik will be properly stepping up to Harshad. No more sitting around and exchanging idle sassy remarks. Now he gonna be active as well. Things are just beginning to heat up in this story and god! I love it!! MaNan tou gonna have loads of surface jhagdas and deep mein feely flashbacks 😉 (my linguistic class ki knowledge just made a cameo here 😳 )

I loved how they handled the post-storeroom scenes, the CVs are just bloody brilliant, not only they have given Manik a little disheveled look right now which is in contrast from his sharp appearances during initial few episodes but his equation with Aliya is opening up so beautifully. I feel for Aliya , apart from her attempt with goons, the girl has perhaps been infatuated with Manik for a long time and has gone against her brother to be a part of Fab5 . But I feel the relationship was always superficial, because the Manik that is around fab5 is not real. He is just a facade and the relationship would have died out eventually even without a Nandini around. Aliya doesn't know the real him and to be fair even Manik is coming to terms with his real self just now. So I just feel apart from his insensitive comments , these two were always meant not for each other . In a way what is happening is good for Aliya.

I loved how Manik rushed to his Dhruv and explained the "eventful" situation. It was heartbreaking and Kudos to Parth for nailing that scene so well the way he stresses on Dhruv being the right guy and him the bad boy- PERFECTION. It had irony, his frustration and helplessness. He is tired of being the "bad" guy. It was so cute when he told Dhruv to warn "his friend" about Harshad. The concern was so important. I feel Dhruv is taking the words of Manik and Nandini at the face value and just doesn't want to ponder about their relationship.

Nandu , thank God didn't forgive or went soft on Manik, her defense was thought-out and she kept what she understood about Manik to herself. Navya needs to still have some meat.

Rose was such a star. She basically said what everyone felt about Manik and Aliya.

They both remembered but what was even more fun was that they went back to their bickering , It wasn't laced with insult but had a habitual almost friendly vibe. I am so glad the jacket stays with her.

I am glad Nandini wasn't too dramatic about the gossiping . The conversations in this serial are so real and that is refreshing.

I am with you about the unease and little awkwardness between Dhruv and Nandini. It has nothing to do with love triangle but just they don't have much to talk to each other and she unconsciously always brings Manik as a conversation starter and without it they are left to talk about weather - which is stark contrast to what Nandu shares with Manik, with the latter she is free to talk about her fears, science,fireflies- just the ease is very natural. Their silence is also enough. I do think Dhruv and Nandini are both made from the same moral cloth and they have more things in common personality wise but she has friend-zoned him and today perhaps I felt even Dhruv is falling for the idea of her , but not her. Don't know if this makes sense.

I am right there with ya with the addictiveness! Thought I was over Indian Telly after TBP (more specifically, RaHi) but MTv of all channels proved me wrong! Thank you for the compliment 😳

A person's look always says so much about what he is feeling. The disheveled did so for Manik. Not only was he processing all that happened in the locked room but it was followed by angry outbursts from his girlfriend who just can't stop linking him up with Nandini. While she is right in her case, Manik right now is just tired of it. Seven years is a HUGE time for dating, specially for young people like them in today's age! Alya is beautiful, rich and classy. She could've gotten anyone she wanted but she's been with Manik all her life. Till now their relationship was all candy floss, them always hanging out together with their family like friends. I've said it before, Fab5 haven't seen much of the world outside their little circle. If they have, they still come running back to their comfort zone and use all their strength to maintain it. Nandini is causing Manik to stray away from that zone, to know him and others around him. Yeah, Manik-Alya's relationship wouldn't have had a long, successful run and something would've caused it to fade away but the way it's happening now is too sudden for Alya to process. One day they are being happy, next day she saw a rift being caused between the bestest of buddies all cuz of Nandini. i am interested to know how their relationship will meet its official end. 7 years...they must be each other's firsts in so many things. That kind of relationship always leaves you with memories. So despite Manik not truly loving Alya, he can't just toss her around like a used paper. What they shared is exclusive to them only, good or bad doesn't matter. If I think on this level, what's happening right now makes me feel really bad for Alya.

With Dhruv Manik can be Manik. He can bare himself open without the fear of being judged. Yeah, Parth nailed that scene! His strong resolve to face Harshad, his awkward request to Dhruv to ask Nandini to be careful, the way he admitted to being the universally acclaimed bad boy..the transition between these emotions was so wonderfully done. Dhruv ka take on MaNan confuses me. I don't know what he thinks of them or if he thinks about them at all. It's frustrating and a bit fun. Because with Manik, we are clear about his position in the triangle. But Dhruv keeps his mysterious air intact. Topi ke neeche kya pakk raha hai, i have no idea 😆

Yes! Nandini has brains! She didn't blabber everything to Navya! Thank you girl for doing that! Neither she did automatically call Manik a good guy who is just misunderstood. her reaction was strictly to what happened in the locked room, not to what he has already done to her.

Hmmm..Dhruv falling for the idea of her. That's nice. I don't think Dhruv is aware of Nandini having a brother with same conditions as Dhruv? Only Manik has seen her take care of Rishabh as he takes care of Dhruv. So far. Dhruv and Nandini haven't really talked about anything. First she had a crush on him, now he has a crush on her. And I do feel that Nandini's crush on him has decreased by a lot! I won't say friend zoned by she definitely sees him as a friend only now. We need indications from her to make sure if the crush is intact or not.

Still laughing at the BDSM thing.

I doubt we would get some jungle menace though i would LURVE to see what Cabir has to say about Harshad and Madhubala 😆
