Dhruv is a disappointment,Really?

Pardon me,If I end up saying something wrong coz my views completely going to be based on whatever posts I have read about the last 3 epis.

Being a admire or a fan,doesn't mean everyone understand a char well..I haven't done any PhD on this char but from where I see,Dhruv is man enough to take a situation n handle it by his own.It's just that he keeps himself hidden from the eyes of the others,that doesn't mean he is not strong enough or weak.

He doesn't take part in ragging yet he stood there silently watching Nandini suffer.Then, he just met her,he might like her but isn't it to soon for him to stand up for Nandini? Wait ! It might sound a li'l wrong,so let me put it this way-isn't it too early to take Nandini's side going against of his brother like friend,Manik ?

He stood there watching every wrong activity of other fab.5 member,True but that doesn't mean he agrees to them n doesn't care for the other person.But if he starts protesting NOW,that'd look so out of character.😕

He may not say anything but his expressions are enough to understand what goes on in his head on that particular moment.Besides, it almost looks like everytime Nandini bow down to Manik's demand,she ends up disappointing Dhruv,Somewhere he expects her to fight back n be the different girl she really is or he finds her to be.

Dhruv has past that haunts him & what I think it'd take something serious,really serious to break the wall around him & to fight back.

I am someone who is disappointed by Dhruv's characterisation and I will tell you why.

With the rest of the fab 5 i.e. Manik, Cabir, Mukti and Alya , their moral compasses has always been in question, not only do they torment people but take pleasure in it. But whereas with Dhruv we have seen him established as someone who actually sees the wrong in this. I find it a bit of cop-out that Dhruv wont say anything to Manik in private because its been established that their friendship is also beyond what the others share. The fact that Dhruv could joke around when Manik was in a rage while the rest of the Fab 5 didnt even dare approach Manik kind of indicates what relationship they share.

And what is friendship if you cant look at your friends and tell them when they are wrong and again this is not in context of Nandini alone. If your best friend tells a classmate of yours to wipe his shoe, I would think that you would have the courage to tell your friend off, especially if your relationship is shown to be that strong. Just my point of view
