Kripa - A Spine of Steel!

This post is coming from someone who is not such a big fan of Kripa's character. I had posted a note earlier whereby I had mentioned that Kripa is the ping-pong ball of KYPH and today I am posting one titled that Kripa has a Spine of Steel.

Kripa surely showed one today! Her bowing down to her elder's wishes and for the sake of Prithvi's friendship was a great gesture from someone so young and inexperienced in life, it showed Kripa's maturity and stability of character.

But what really stood apart Kripa today was the fact that she refuses to get engaged to Prithvi infront of all the people present. It requried guts to do such a thing and Kripa let her heart rule her head today! I think of all the wimpy, willowy characters that Ekta's serial produces, Kripa is going to be an exception! The way she defied Angad's over-powering presence itself has given an indication, and the way she stood up for her love was just mind-blowing.

And mind you Kripa took this decision without any committment on Angad's part. As a woman, it was a huge risk for Kripa, she got out of a potentially stable and loving relationship into one which has a rough ride and no destination in sight. Kripa just followed the path of love blindly, overcame conventions and broke the barriers of society!

Kripa showed us today that Love is a power which overcomes every barricade, every obstacle and every hurdle in its way.

Kripa's explaining Prithvi that she cannot substitue love with respect was an indication of a mind which is clear and precise, of a girl who knows her mind and has no qualm saying what she feels. And Kripa confessing to a still confused Angad that she loves him, was just superb........I don't think Angad will ever be able to recreate or replicate the power of this statement, the way Kripa put it across!

Kripa was pure steel today, as she took the leap from the known to the unknown and let love rule her life...................

👏Kudos to Kripa for being a true woman and to Neha for bringing out the essence of Kripa today!

Chilly, I have not see the episode yet. Have to wait for 8 hrs. But reading your update and your analysis on Kripa, I fully agree with you. She basically gambles on LOVE. I hope it pays her off (EKTAA are you listening 😉)

I agree, her performance may not have been wonderful, but the charachter is beginning to take wonderful shape and also the best of lines!! I really hope Angad and the rest can measure up with performances and lines 😊👏👏

I think it was a good episode, but like all other serials,

In this one also, we waste almost 15-17 minutes listening to songs and watching flashbacks.!!!!

Lovely analysis Chilly didi. Just watching one Ekta heroine after another sacrificing their love for duty was suffocating...can't love and duty be exercised together?Giving someone up whom you love is a horrible heart wrenching thing to do ...real life is bad enough, we don't want to be reminded that sorrow and grief are always lurking in shadows... life becomes terrible if we know everything ends in broken dreams. In Ekta's serials, there is no hope or happiness. I am glad that Kripa took a chance of happiness with Angad, at least try karke kho dene mein itni to tassali rehti hai ki haan koushish ki thi...darpok ki tarah halat ke saamne jhuk nahin gayi thi...whatever happens next, atleast Kripa will have the consolation that she tried for a relationship, though Angad was too confused to understand how much she had risked for him...I like strong women like her!!

Did anyone notice, though Kripa said I love you, Angad did not answer back the same way?!!

Oh No!!! This means Angad is STILL not sure that he loves her. 😭He need a good to set him right. But I hope he does love her, otherwise it would be too cruel to kripa😭😭

I agree with you rano and I also noticed Angad does not answer back the same way. He still doesn't believe in love; he has accepted the fact that he has powerful feelings towards Kripa but is reluctant to call it love. I don't think he will actually say the words until he looses her and tries to win her back.
