Resembles 'Dil tho Pagal Hai'!!

I just started watching KYPH and I must say I was bowled over. OMG, A and K just rock.The guy has incredible talent the girl is sweet but not sexy (sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings) but she has a very sweet nature. It will be interesting to see reconciliation b/w the 2 great polarities and a union of opposites .I just hope Ekta doesn't spoil this sweet story with twists and turn it into a chessboard.

They both Kripa and Angad stand as amazing individuals. Did any of u think it was a lil bit like Dil tho pagal hai? See, Sharukh was not a rich spoit brat but it is a daily so they have to show his family. But same dance and song. As Angad will get drawn towards Kripa, Tania mam will be there to spoil things for them. Madhuri Karishma = Kripa Tania!!! Agree or disagree!!!

Yep Mink, the story resembles DTPG to some extent in the sense that the story has a background of Dance and Music!

But the biggest inspiration for KYPH comes from the movie ''Taal'' and the serial, ''Kahin To Hoga''. But knowing Ms. Kapoor's penchant for last minute twists & turns, I can't even begin to imagine, what course the story is going to take later on.

No doubt about the fact that Angad has incredible sex appeal, its not just his smashing good-looks, its is overall personality which reeks of animal magnetism! Its after ages, that I have seen such an over-powering actor on Television, he seems to vanish everything around him, whenever he is around!

Kripa is damn cute, but does not have the kind of screen-presence that Angad has, but I think that is the whole point! For a change, KYPH is not a woman oriented story, it is a ''love'' oriented story (hey Nitica, I have borrowed this phrase from your note on love being the protogonist, loved the way you put it!) where the central theme is the love-hate relationship of Angad & Kripa, and Angad being an agressive, powerful, intense character and Kripa being the exact opposite to him, it was necessary to take Actors who would physically look the role! And Ekta has got exactly the right kinds!

I agree with ur drawn parallels chillyflake wid DTPG n KTH …but lets hope that 4 once in the 'filmi' sense there is a happy ending .i.e. Angad n Kripa get together …I reali wud b annoyed if Kripa ended-up marrying Prithvi n Angad wid Mishti …althou am keeping an open-mind …after all its an Ekta creation!😡

…while Angad's character steals the show everytyme he's on-screen …I must say Kripa is just as gud …n sumtymes even better …1 onli needs 2 remember the slap scene or where she told Angad that althou he'd been the 1 she had loved most once, now she h8s him wid the exact intensity 👏
