I am no psychiatrist, but it is still in the back of her head that the child is not biologically Angad's. I think she really fears losing him now more than ever, and I'm not blaming the child, or finding fault with Kripa, just saying that her insecurity might arise due to this. Angad does and will love this child as much as his own but she doesn't know that and his absence is not helping the situation.

And please before anyone jumps my comments, I realize that Angad is just trying to build a secure future for his wife and child, and therefore he is away.
