Immense Bias in favor of Angad!!!

I usually do not write really long posts but after reading some recent topics, I was literally forced to initiate this one today. Before I begin, I am not pointing any fingers or criticizing anyone personally so please "do not" be offended. This is my opinion and I would love to hear your comments too..

Everytime Angad gets hurt.. we have loads and loads of topics basically saying how Kripa can do something like that or how unbelievably evil or inhumane she is. The comment's on today episode are also a good example. She only sung for Prithvi in a concert and said a sentence to the audience acknowledging everything he has done for him. Keeping aside the fact that YES HE IS A KILLER, prior to that act, Angad indeed was the one who desserted her, left her in the streets when she was having his baby and accused her of being "budchulun" along with the rest of the society. Now, if she acknowledges the fact that Prthvi stood by her.. IT IS THE TRUTH and we CANNOT FORGET that she is "unaware" of the fact that Prithvi has murdered Josh. I am sorry but in Ekta's drama, all lead characters are totally oblivious of the truth almost all the time, so Kripa is not the only one in KYPH. Coming back to the main point, what Angad did to her when she was carrying his child was not any less EVIL. He basically left her to die on the street, while partying with MISHTI... I still remember the scene... where she was wandering on the street all alone and to be exact.. "Angad apni gaari mei uskay upar keechar uchalta hua chala gaya" Why is he off the hook for doing that? So, she has sent him to prison in a misunderstanding, but if not less, what he did at that time was equally evil; to leave a woman who is carrying your baby on the streets to die and not even accept that it is your kid that she is carrying. So, she is favoring Prithvi today, but it was actually Prithvi who picked her up from that street and gave her shelter.

I am not saying that I never come across a post where Angad is blamed but after reading the topics almost everyday... I have to say the number of posts in Angad's favor overlooking his actions are FAR MORE and have always been this way than Kripa. The proportion of posts is completely imbalanced.

The MOST SHOCKING opinions that I read and are a major reason why I am provoked to write today was after the rape sequence. I CANNOT BELIEVE BUT PEOPLE ACTUALLY SAID THAT KRIPA DESERVED TO BE RAPED. First of all, if a female wrote this, I cannot even think of an explanation of where that thought can come from.. and any DECENT MAN would never think of raping a woman NO MATTER WHAT! Sorry, but that is just the way it is when it comes to a hideous crime like rape. Coming towards the story, that is what happened "only a few days ago", if Kripa was almost raped by Angad, how else do you expect her to react. She is COMPLETELY SHATTERED INSIDE, even if you love someone to death, after such a horrendous act, how can you possibly hold any "soft corner" for that man. What she did today IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in comparison to Angad trying to rape her.

Sorry to have taken so much of your time, but I wanted to share my opinion with you. I do not mean to say that what Kripa has done is right, but seems to me like ANGAD IS FORGIVEN FOR FAR MORE MISTAKES THAN KRIPA.

I was thinking about writing something like this, but decided against it because the usual response is something like "well It's kripa's fault for not trusting Angad, etc." Quite useless to argue with someone who's not willing to looking at something in a different light. Anyway, I agree with you 100%. People who were saying stuff like "how can she do this to her OWN HUSBAND, etc" as if she'd commited the crime of the century, were the same folks who were saying "Kripa deserved to be raped". Anyway, I know someone will waltz in here and remind me that "it's just a drama". I already know that, and if we all took that attitude, there would be no point of having a discussion forum.

The forum members are basically women. Thats why you will see some much of a bias. I am a little surprised this time. Last time I visited this forum, I saw a large majority supporting Kripa. This time its Angad.

Its sad that the demented Angad is always forgiven simply because the man who plays Angad is a certain Handsome Hunk called Iqbal Khan who plays his part so well. 👏
I am a little surprised by the general attitude and claims that Kripa deserved to be raped.I am a little confused how the feminists I met last time have suddenly changed their stand. We all are entitled to our own opinion right?
This time I really cannot bring myself to justify Angad's actions. Especially the rape which I am sure has happened.I am happy Angad got what he deserved yesterday. Angad and Kripa can start a new chapter after learning Prithvi's truth. 😛

umm.. its the women themselves who create this woman rights thing.. i mean the person didnt say this yaad rakhing she was a female and all that.. but she said this coz that was ryt at least to her! and he didnt really rape her! he left her remember?

and kripa.. arhh. if angad was partying with misty.. he wasnt really partying.. i mean he was "pretending to party" and the thing kripa did today she did it from her heart..

and do u think angad would have kicked her outta the house if he knew that kripa is pregnent with his child? i mean ok that was kinda his fault!

but coming back to todays thing.. whatever she did was disgusting! if she doesnt take him as his hubby.. then why is she living in khanna house?? why is aaliyah her "zimmedaari"?? im sorry! if angad isnt her husband then aaliyah and khanna house matters are none of her biss.!

The point she was trying to make is that Angad basically did the same to Kripa what she's doing to him now. He abandoned her while she needed him, and how when he needs her, she's not there to support him (all because of misunderstandings)

What was so idsgusting? Kripa does not know Prithvi's truth. She loves him for all he has done for her. And what she did was out of a sense of gratitude. Kripa has always been portrayed as a weak character. But Angad is full of weakneses too. His biggest fallacy was when he ditched Kripa knowing she was pregnant with his child and raping the woman he claimed to love. The rape really happened- Take my word. I am sure the future episodes will throw more light into this.

If you remember clearly Aaliya insisted on not going back to the Khanna house because of Manek. Kripa returned to the Khanna house only to assure Aaliya that she is not alone. Thats why she shifted from Angad's room to Aaliya's room.

so well.. its not angads fault OR kripaz fault! its both their faults!!!!!!

Sorry Kritu, not trying to offend you but I will have to disagree with you. You just said that he didnt do the whole partying thing from the heart, first of all it was not just partying, that was the initial phase, he went to the extent of defying his own dadi and actually "almost" getting married to Mishty. Now, it is a drama, we know its the story of Angad and Kripa, so we know, he was not doing it from the heart. But, even today no matter what Kripa says, we know "she loves Angad". She does not love Prithvi. As far as her heart is concerned, audience never had a serious doubt about that, it has always been Angad she has loved! She even confessed that when she went to the hospital during her recent marriage to Angad and Prithvi was hospitalized because of his suicide attempt. So, we cannot really say that it is forgiven because it was coming or not coming from the heart. Secondly, even if he left her at the last minute, what does that mean? Does that justify that he could come up with an idea like "raping" the woman he loves? in order to take revenge. Dont you think its a bit too low? or sick? leaving her at the last minute, does not change the fact that he "wanted to rape her".

She was forced into this marriage, it is obvious from day one, that she is not dying to live in the Khanna house and would leave it if she can break away. But, she is not evil like Anitah, even though she doesnt care much for Angad, doesnt mean she would let Aaliyah's life get ruined because of the fact that she hates her brother.

If Kripa can be called disgusting, sorry but Angad is no less, the night he brought her into the Khanna house, he brought a call girl to sleep with... it is pretty disgusting and pathetic, now again you can say.. but he really didnt do it.. but that doesnt change the intent of his actions!
