Truth be told, I think kripa's desperate move towards prithvi was to be expected ... a) angad pushed her too hard with his poisonous barbs and b) she was just trapped b/w a whole lot of crumbling walls: an ex-flame who's hell bent on destroying u and u want to but can't scream bloody murder, coz ppl wont beleive u - and, here's the clincher: that one guy -( who incidentally happens to be ur hubby) who trusts u - come hell or high water - has been dis-illusioned for what seems like gud( due a major screw up on ur part!!) - ok... now what do u do? emotionally u r frazzled and disoriented - ur life ( ok, it wasnt perfect) but had semblance of normalcy to it in a way) is about to turn to dust in front of u...

So ... u make the best on-the-spur-of-the-momeent decision that you can .... u think fast ... u know he's been dying to get u in the sack, u know that he's been making puppy eyes at you for yrs : so, to stop the leaning tower from doubling over : u do what u can : u take out the ace frm ur pack and u use it ... That much is making sense in my eyes...

Yes... she is desecrating a temple.. yes, she is doing it wilfuly, yes she is being deliberately bitchy and yes ... she intends on proving a sick point to her ex-flame : But hey ! I think that 'needs must when the devil drives'... Me - call me weird - I can Stomach all this.

However, I totaaly agree wid u on one count : Foning him while doing the act wid her husband - that is tres tres distasteful! I dont condone this bit ... I never will and wont even forgive krips for it : this is way too below the belt.

O.K., my mind is full of figures right now, so I'm going to try and reply this before I go back into this meeting, so please bare wtih me if it doesn't make any sense.

I agree that Angad's poisonous barbs have pushed her beyond her limits, and have directed her course towards Prithvi, and all she has left now is to try and save face, save herself from crumbling......but, but, but......in all the time Angad has been away in jail, she was married to Prithvi and never thought to grant him his conjugal rights, she even stayed away from that when she found out he was back, and this is what gripes at me......that she's doing this not out of love for Prithvi, not out of complete dedication to him and their marriage, but to spite Angad!!!

How the heck will doing something that you so strongly held out against doing all this time not affect you??? Sure,Prithvi stood by her all this time, sure he's devoted to her, but that has never changed her mind before.

How can she go ahead with this, when just a few days ago, she slapped Angad for mocking and trivialising their night together. How can she one day cry for him and how he ruined the memory of their night together for her, and the next give herself to Prithvi. Their night to her was sacred....held close to her heart, but isn't she trivialising that "special memory", isn't she doing the same by sleeping with a man she doesn't love???

I agree with u to the T...
Firstly I dont believe in taking revenge ...the idea of such a feeling is repulsive to me ...and revenge from someone u loved someday is just unthinkable to me . I fail to understand this whole revenge plotting since it began after Angad came back as Zaib.

So I have not really expressed any reaction to this except in your posts.

I think both of them are equally guilty ...and i wont take sides ...i have never done that...but what kripa thinks she is doing to hurt Angad is a unpardonable act ...and the demons of which will follow her more than Angad ...

Assuming it was a real situation...I will just say that Angad and kripa should move on and save both of them the disgrace they bring to themselves and people arround them ...

I would have not blamed (tho i dont approve of such things) kripa so much even if she would have slept with prithvi even for the sake of lust .Knowing that it would be just physical ...Atleast she would have been true to herself.
but right now she is decieving herself, Angad and Prithvi....it is CHEAP...and that is what it is.

O.k. I've also tried not to take sides in this case, but I don't know if it comes across as me doing so........I have been guilty of doing just that at other times. Here, I tried to put forth both sides before just stating my personal opinion.

Both Angad and Kripa, actuially Prithvi, when he comes to find out the truth, all three of them will be scarred by this, and Angad will live in his hatred for her, seeking an even more harsher revenge for this, but you put in just right by saying that the demons will follow her more than any one else, and should she even try to forget what she did, well, Angad is not the kind of man to let that happen any time soon.

Exactly. Had she loved him or even fels some sort of physical attraction. then I wouldn't be so harsh....but like you rightly said, she is not just cheating both Angad and Prithvi.....she's cheating herself.

well said ur views Hafsa..I agree lot of things wid u..I support krips in sleeping wid her hubby ofcourse not wid calling angad to hear..
she cdnt believe her luv and trust angad. she has no right to say anything to angad once she married to another person. that means she over crossed her path to luv. she cd punish angad for betraying her but not by marrying somebody.

Hmmm...srk addict, as viewers we have the right to critique the characters, however we have no reason to condemn the characters based on those actions. L

Like you said, we emotionally invest ourselves in the soap and all this leads us to favor one character over the other. Other times, script writers goof up and don't present the entire picture...and we act according to what we see and fail to notice the emotions that weren't presented on screen.

I used to flip at Angad's behavior...he annoyed the hell out of me just cause I saw his actions as not being shoved to krips, but to me...I definitely don't want any man to act the same with me. Hence, I condemned his actions. It didn't have anything to do with right or wrong...it just had to do with how I percieved his actions...I took it at a personal level. Now, I am willing to understand that his actions, too, are rxns. to others' however since the character is extremely of impulsive temperament, he acts in extremes- be it the angad who sacrificed his career and family for krips sake or the one who called her 'public property'.

As far as krips is concerned, I believe her soul is more important than her body. You comment that she has given up her body, her temple, to a man she doesn't love, and that to some extent doesn't gel with you. All this doesn't matter to me right now, I see her for her beautiful spirit. Without Angad, she is a lifeless anyways. What good is your body if your soul doesn't reside in it. Sigh...I think I fail to make sense. All I see right now is a crumbled human being...a shattered woman and that might have blinded my judgement; I can't say for sure.

Even prostitutes sell their bodies out of necessity or cause of society, does that mean we will condemn these women for their morals?

I definitely wouldn't. Right now, I notice the characters' state of mind, and I am willing to wear the garb of peace and just understand them for who or what they are...
