Critical Analysis of KYPH

Today i'm attempting to do something after ages .. try my hands at criticising KYPH!!!

KYPH has been portrayed as an intense love story filled with passion and emotion. Right. Wrong. I'm still trying to fathom out the reason as to why most of us go gaga over this serial and this is the serial that has us say yeh dil mange more. Prithvi Psychotism - No, Kripas Bewafai - No , Angad fooling around - Nopes, oh ya right we are watching it for angad and Kripa to be together - Hello, if they are destined to be together they will. The show is supposed to be very realistic but what is it teaching us?

A woman can never be independent and she needs a man to fall back upon, kill to get our love, use other ppl and other ppls feelings to get our point across or then is it showing ius and telling us to bad and mean and use and hurt other peoples feelings because being good and kind and ever so sacrificing is not going to help you at all... its definately not teaching us to move ahead in life - isnt life all about moving ahead or is it being haunted by your past memories -

characters keep disaapearing now and then .... Kripa has got married and suddenly she starts wearing her mangalsutra as a protection tool on angad!Couldnt they have just shown as her a successful independent women after her break up with angad the first time the misunderstanding happenned.. Naina seemed to have forgotten her ladla son angad ever so easily - Is it so easy to forget?? Angad/Zaib seems to have only motto in life to wreck a womans life who has wrecked his. And for this he will wreck another womans life...and what will that woman do...weep bucket of tears and hey he will dump her but guess what everyone will be happy for kripa will be angads..(she may just hating prithvi ) but if prithvi and mishti come in between angad and kripa, then they will be the most hated people on earth! so basically KYPH is teaching us to hate all those people who try remotely to come between two people in love. So what if they love the person who didnt love them. They cant have feelings right??

Parents are supposed to be the support system for their children. Dadi seemed to have been the one to help angad out in times of his adversity yet she didnt even go to meet him in jail. Now shes crying yeh mera angad yeh mera angad hai... hello???Naina wept when she learnt her child died, Did they ever show naina going to jail to meet him? No. Dilip is supposed to be angads father? Did they ever show any expression of his when he learnt of his childs death? No. Suryabhan and Gayatri. Where are there? No mention. Aliyah a sister - Where is she ? No Idea. Manav and Harshini the friend- where are they lost - sorry, I havent got a clue...

I really dont want to comment on angads character because i expected this character to be something more ... something different.. I expected this character to have some spine which sadly he is lacking in majorly. If he really loved kripa so much, he would have had the guts to tell her that yes i committed a mistake yet he didnt and let his silence do the talking. Now has grown a monster in him and nothing to him makes sense- he wants revenge and revenge at all cost because he has been hurt so he wants others to be hurt the same way too....doesnt make sense to me... looks like to me forgiveness is a word that doesnt exist in these characters dictionary!!!

Prithvi who is supposed to be a friend philosopher and guide of kripa is actually reduced to being a psychotic killer and a possessive husband!! (thank god they showed him as a pysychotic killer other wise he was being redced to a body guard!) Personally, I expected more out of this character and expected this character to be something in lines of abhishek bacchan in phir milenge but how can we forget that this is actually tele land that we are talking about where a concept like platonic friendship doesnt exist...why else couldnt they show angad and kripa being just friends or then prithvi and kripa having a mutual respect and admiration for each other.

whats with kripa and her tears..can some one tell her that its not the end of the world.. everytime she looks at angad and angad looks at her, i feel they both are singing ..dont cry for me -argentina ...ooops dont cry for me - my sweet love. Can someone tell her that shes married now, yet she has another man in her heart and thinks of him all the time. If you loved the other guy so much pray why did you send him to jail!!

I expected more out of these characters. I expected these characters to have more guts, to have spine and a nerve of steel. Sadly alas .. i feel let down and that too very badly .

KYPH isnt about love and friendship any more now its about badla and revenge ..no family ties left, no emotions left... its all about badla, its all about revenge, and its about the quest to reach the top, the quest to ruin anothers life at the expense of losing your smile and your soul....

But we have to remember it's just a serial on the idiot box, and should be seen only to make u feel good. When it started it was nice and innocent-- A sweet innocent girl from Nainital, and a spoilt rich successful guy from Bombay- but so what? He had a big heart at least. But now, ur right that all the charachters are seeming to falter. When they themselves are not sure, how can we be sure about them?

Haila , mistoo the logical queen of KYPH 😆 😛 , No i cant comment on dis, , I luv da serial to muh😳! I forgive dem for their flaws and whole heartedly accept the serial as one violent passionate intense love saga, whih I feel is the best thng happening in the K-world thse days! 😳 😛

nikki i understand ji!..and wht u guys said is true to a very large extent, bt for me kyph is no more thn a fantasy world, and I trust logic frm u guys tu get me bak out of tht fantasy and make me realize, evrythng isnt as good as it seemd to be!😛, but for now and till da serial ends i give dishum dishum to logics and go bak to the biggest fools in dis world...angad and kripa!😳
