Nice written Mishty. Well done. 👏 KYPH is really the first hindi serial I've watched. I've seen a couple of episodes of Jaan (it was casted on Zee TV a couple of years back), I loved it, but never seen it all. I totally agree with you that KYPH started off well. The whole concept of the story was nice. A realy sit back, forget everydays worries, relax, watch and enjoy serial. But nothing lasts for ever as they say. 😉

KYPH isnt about love and friendship any more now its about badla and revenge ..no family ties left, no emotions left... its all about badla, its all about revenge, and its about the quest to reach the top, the quest to ruin anothers life at the expense of losing your smile and your soul....

Yeah Misty I agree wiith u, there's a lot of negativeism going on in the serial which i feel is maybe the reason why our forum is so edgy at times. After all we love the serial, don't we? But we have to remember it's just a serial on the idiot box, and should be seen only to make u feel good. When it started it was nice and innocent-- A sweet innocent girl from Nainital, and a spoilt rich successful guy from Bombay- but so what? He had a big heart at least. But now, ur right that all the charachters are seeming to falter. When they themselves are not sure, how can we be sure about them?

wow, mistyeyed_25, nikkii99, cool posts! the last lines in both your posts are so absolutely what i feel today too! (was that co-ordinated, btw? 😆)

i also feel for that line about the negativism on the forum - sometimes, we feel like a mirror reflecting what's happening in the serial itself. and one of the postings here is probably an explanation for this: it is so badly crafted that it is only watchable if we leave our brains out of it.

that sort of made sense for while watching the serial.

but it doesn't make sense for when we are on the forum, imho. on this forum, i've seen some of the most intelligent minds. it feels bad when there are postings that ask that our brains be continually left behind. i refuse to think that the characterisations of angad and kripa today, and the "love" they display today, which has come from the apparently incoherent, inconsistent, inchoate minds of writers at balaji telefilms, are the best depiction of what "true love" is.

what hurts most is that when this is said, some people react as if it was more offensive than narendra modi's behaviour during the gujarat riots.

this set of posts do much as a reassurance that brains are still engaged. thank you very much for this thread. 😊 -esther

Hey esther, thanx for the compliments! Glad i could do something new and see KYPH from another angle....Hey as long as we people like you in the forum still around, I'm sure we can overcome everything and bring the forum back to where it was earlier....
