Neha at Popkorn – Boticelli Angel.
Hi Guys,
Just finished watching Neha's Popkorn hosting and I must say pink is in vogue. When IQ was at Popkorn , he wore white and pink.Today, Neha was dressed in a magenta/fuchsia pink top and a blue-denim mini-skirt, just another gorgeous kid next-door. So, Amit…when you come to Weekend Popkorn, you better come wearing pink too………….keep up with the KYPH tradition.
Okay, so here's what Neha said in Weekend Popkorn.......
Neha wishes she was much taller than what she is now and said that ,"Dadi, if you aren't tall enough, then how could I get taller…ok, ok.ok, don't hit me when am back home." She is crazy about her family and her father is everything to her , she wants to take care of him all her life and make her family very proud of her. Neha hates Indian Classical Dancing and she wished that she was proficient at Western dances and they would have really helped her.Her mother pushed her into classical dancing – Bharatnatyam and she thanked GOD when she caught jaundice and had to discontinue her training. Neha was might happy about it. Neha admires Ba of KSKBT and hopes to have similar energy and grace when she reaches her age.
Neha repents having missed out on the fun of college life and thus enjoys watching Remix. She is very proud of having done South Indian films and loves the fact that they wrap up very soon and she could take a break every two months. That's how she completed her studies. Neha is tired of her Dad's habit of shifting homes…..she has shifted her house 5 times in the same complex and is praying that seeing a new building come up in the vicinity that he doesn't get any more ideas about shifting their house again.
Neha was heavily into cultural activities at school level and loved Basketball. She loves her character Kripa, her soap KYPH and the entire cast of KYPH. She works 30 days a month and that's where her life revolves.
Neha clearly said that all reports of troubles on KYPH sets and her not getting along with her co-stars are completely untrue. Neha, IQ, Amit, Suvarna and everyone laughed off at such rumours. She said that she does fight with Amit and people often fear that they'll pick something and hurt each-other. She loved Hum Paanch years ago and is fond of Khichdi, Sarabhai V/s. Sarabhai and Batliwala House No. 43.Her career started with modelling and she fondly remembered Hyderabad.
IQ-Neha's first interview with Popkorn was shown where they both talked about their career and characters for the first time at a Press Conference and danced KYPH's signature tango.Both looked adorable back then, now, I'd call them gorgeous and more groomed now.
Neha said that if she ever played a vamp, she'll play a subtle one. Viewers asked her questions after that. A girl asked that who was her favourite co-star in KYPH, she thought a little and said that since she works with both IQ and Amit, she likes them . She said her intense scenes come out the best with IQ and her comical and funny scenes are good with Amit. When asked as to how far she related to Kripa-the character, Neha said that she is a totally different person from Kripa but has her strength of character. She says that she is a rollicking youngsters who chills out, works hard and parties hard and IS NOT MATURE.
Her dream is to reach a respectable pinnacle in her life, support her Dad and make everybody proud of her. Celebrity status is great but does irritate her at times because sometimes she can't be that careless girl next door and yet people recognizing her and coming up to her warms her up.Whena sked about her future projects, Neha said that right now her life revolves around KYPH but she may return to Telugu movies or other shows in future if KYPH gives her more time at hand.
Neha's words of the day:" I am not going to change for anybody and it's okay as long as I am true to myself".( translated from her chattoing😆).
COMMENT:
Neha is a good-hearted kid who is happy being immature and kiddish and cares for nobody and nothing as long as her conscience is clear. She is extremely camera-conscious and am surprised how differently she emotes in KYPH without being bothered about the camera.
She is a very "Take-me-as-I-am-because-I-am-what-I-am" person.
