what happens today

😆 omg! mishty rocks. she rocks, she rocks! pensive mishty in her room. doorbell rings. it's zaib's chauffeur who's to take her to him. she slams the door in his face. the bell rings again. she opens it yelling to get lost, when she sees that it's kripa. hypocritical kripa who's there to tell her she should stay away from angad. mishty flares up: it's zaib. angad's no more, dead in a jail where kripa put him. all the tenderness of the sorrow they shared is ripped into shreds as the two girls warn each other away from zaib/angad/oh who knows anymore. by this point in their yelling match, it hardly matters! 😆 mishty tells kripa off and how: when kripa warns her she is engaged, mishty shoots back that kripa's married, so what the hell is she doing not thinking of her husband. "think of him, create a home, make babies, start your life". kripa tells her she thought they were friends, that's why she came to help mishty. mishty kills her with "you put those you love in jail, what would you care of a mere friend?" killer line! kripa looks slapped and walks off.

next comes karthik. he tells mishty to stay away from angad! mishty looks like she can't understand anyone anymore. it's zaib, not angad. karthik doesn't seem to hear. he hates angad, who always takes everyone he wants away from him. if angad gets to mishty, karthik will kill angad and then mishty. mishty's not taking such nonsense. she has a brain, she knows what to do. she's promised to be with him and she won't break her promise. and as soon as karthik leaves, she does just that. 😆

nosy kripa's fingering papers in mishty's room and finds the note with zaib's invitation for lunch. she must stop mishty. but not before she runs into karthik and raising his suspicions about kripa. then, karthik finds the note, thinks that kripa's off to zaib and runs after her.

meanwhile, mishty's on zaib's yacht, calling zaib softly. he startles her by leaping in front of her. and then starts one of the most serious seduction sequences that i've seen on tv! she's trying to speak "zaib", but he looks into her eyes everytime, praising something new about her - first her hair, then her eyes - and spins her brains out of her head. she keeps losing her train of thought and can only stutter "zaib". i think i need a break to catch my own breath! i hardly noticed that there were flashes of first kripa and then karthik arriving at the pier and taking boats to get to zaib's yacht - the seduction was incredible!

mishty might have had her brains seduced, but she's disciplined enough to run away from him before she's completely lost it. in that moment, kripa lands up and finds zaib alone, and offers herself as a substitute for him to gaze into her eyes. that's how karthik sees kripa with zaib and has all his wrong suspicions confirmed. karthik leaves in glee and more than a little relief that it was not mishty.

after karthik leaves, mishty comes back to zaib and is very puzzled to find kripa there. both zaib and mishty have the same message for kripa: you have a husband, go to him. they don't need her to help mishty. after kripa's fled in tears, mishty tries to get her message to zaib. she's engaged. zaib doesn't care: he keeps getting come-on vibes from kripa. he's sorry for kripa, but the only one he wants is mishty. they walk back together.

desperate kripa finds zaib again, and yells why is he troubling them again? zaib is irritated. again? kripa tells him to stay away from mishty. zaib draws her out into confessing her old love for angad aloud, and then tells her that mishty's on the phone listening all the while. kripa is confounded - she is sure this is angad, but not even when she talks about recognising him from the music that only angad can write, does he blink an eye, or show that he cares. she is convinced this is angad, but he is not like angad at all.

zaib rocks! but then, angad was always a very focussed person when he wanted to get something and had a plan. on the other end of the phone, mishty's troubled that her brother's wife is not going to give him a good life.

my gosh. what a seduction was there, my countrypeople! i think i'm still tingling. 😆 -esther

yes, kripa does get beaten up very badly in this episode. i feel sorry for her now. but while the show was on, she was such a hypocrite and came across as irritating. zaib was completely cold to kripa! i really wonder what is going to happen. 😊 -esther
