They are popular and we love seeing them on screen - but for a while now they've been missing from the action

Some of television's hot and sexy actors have been off the radar for some time. They've not been seen in any new daily soaps, nor have we heard about anyone signing them - so what's the deal where are they - BollywoodLife lists down 15 television stars who are missing from the mainstream drama...

Rati Pandey: The actor came to the limelight with her cute, naughty and jhalli avatar in Miley Jab Hum Tum. Post that, Rati was busy doing Hitler Didi for three years. The actress has been on the lookout for some interesting project. According to rumour mills, the actress is busy with her wedding preparation with beau Anas Rashid.

Mohit Sehgal: Like Rati Pandey, Mohit also made it big with Miley Jab Hum Tum. It took Mohit almost two years to bag a role in the small screen, but his second outing Mujhse Kuchh Kehti Yeh Khamoshiyaan did not last very long. He then made a surprise come back in Zee TV's Qubool Hai. People loved to see their favourite actor back but unfortunately the show took a leap and Mohit's character ended there. It seems the actor is still struggling to bag a decent project only then will Sanaya Irani and he take his relationship forward - or so we hear.

Shantanu Maheshwari: What started off as a hobby became way to his name, fame and popularity. Shantanu's debut show Dil Dosti Dance just came to an end a few months back. It is rumoured that the actor is enjoying his break, but truth be told, the actor is on a hunt for another dance based show. Rumour has it that he has just signed on for an episode of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.

Sukirti Kandpal: Pyaar Ki Ek Khaani propelled her to popularity, but post that Sukirti struggled really hard to keep up the popularity with her next show. Her stint in Bigg Boss 8, was supposed to be a new lease of life for the actor but things did not work according to plan with her early ouster from the show.

Ashish Sharma: The intense character in Rangrasiya and strenuous performances in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa drained the actor both emotionally and physically. It's not for the lack of choice, but apparently Ashish wanted to stay off work to replenish himself. Rumour has it that he has signed a new non-fiction show where he will be seen interacting with people on an RJ.

Krystle Dsouza: After her long and successful stint in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behnaa Hai, Krystle signed on a new show for Sony - Ekk Nayyi Pehchaan. Unfortunately, the fate of her new show was not the same as her first daily soap. Anyway, the actress has been off the radar and the only time we've heard of her is when there is an update on her link up with Karan Tacker.

Vrushika Mehta: The actress made her debut with Dil Dosti Dance. The show has come to an end and Vrushika is out of work now. From what we hear, Pakhi Malhotra the casting director of Dil Dosti Dance wants to cast Vrushika again along with Shantanu for a project, until then looks like the actress will be back in college to finish her final year in Bcom.

Asha Negi: Pavitra Rishta and her perfect chemistry with Rithvik Dhanjani put Asha on the map. The actress is currently basking in the glory of her stint in Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, but the shoot is over, and Asha is back to doing nothing. Frankly, we think the actress should consider an action packed role for her next.

Kritika Kamra: It's her chemistry with Karan Kundra on Kitani Mohabbat Hai that made people fall in love with her. She was last seen on MTV Webbed and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Since then the actress has been away from the limelight. Wonder what she is up to with all her free time.

Eijaz Khan: We were extremely thrilled to see Eijaz back on TV with Laut Aao Trisha in the avatar of a cop. However, we heard that the actor was asked to leave the show midway due to some issue. It seems the actor is investing all his time in maintaining his long distance relationship with his Canadian girlfriend, Natalie Di Luccio.
