Really a ICCU like situation...a state of emergency that has taken Mumbai by surprise...but the spirit that is so inherent in this city, lives and thrives in the heart of Sankraman as well, and it continues to beat in the same vigour as it did before.

As we enter Sankraman, a stretch of muddy water welcomes us. As we wade through the mud, we try to imagine the destruction the rains had brought in its wake. | |
