Similarity

A paralysed hero tells the love of his life to leave him alone 'cause he would make her life miserable. The lady leaves the city to start her life all over again and she meets a man, with a tragic past, who falls head-over-heels in love with her. They are all set to get married, when the hero comes back from Switzerland all cured and perfectly healthy.
