Why did sujal leave?

i have a question. did sujal leave because he wanted to ? or did he get kicked off or something. If he left on his own, then i think he should have considered the love of his fan and shouldnt have left, leaving us all sad. If he got kicked off then ekta is pretty stupid. So whats the real reason?

Its a long story=

Nov 2004- Ekta's stupid team were stretching the story like elastic, spoiling the story, character of Sujal and introducing illogic. Rajeev being a creative person decided to silently opt out.

Dec 2004- Ekta was bewildered by fan response and called him back. Rajeev thinking about his fans love, came back.

Fastforward 4 months:

April 2005- Situation very bad for Rajeev. Ekta and her so called 'creative' team not cooperative at all. Story takes a bad twist. Viewers tolerate just to see Rajeev. Ekta was overconfident. When Rajeev points illogic- Ekta said "Either you leave or I leave." He decided to quit.

May 2005- Ekta gives wrong statement about Rajeev's conduct in the press- that he was uncooperative, proud, insecure, greedy. After such an insult- who could tolerate? Rajeev' last scene came on 19th May.

And so.... we lost our Sujal....
