Week: April 14-April 17

Scene of the Week:

All right KNK-ians another week has passed of the show and it is time for the scene of the week . Lekin this time, we are doing it zaara sa hatke! I have picked out some of the most memorable and touching scenes and it is up to you all to vote for which one was the best out of them.

1. The entire scene with the family when they find out that Urmila has cancer. Everyone totally rocked that scene, their emotions and feelings were so real. The pain and hurt were noticeable in their voices. When Kinjal's father speaks about him knowing in his heart that there was something wrong with his Urmila, it was heart breaking. When the son asks her why she thinks of them as 'paraiya' it was a tear jerker. The whole scene was hard to watch. When Urmila was giving her reasons for keeping the secret (Kinjal's pregnancy and her father's heart condition) you couldn't help but sympathize with her. You didn't know who you felt the worst for, Urmila or the family. Then when they all rally with her in hope it give you hope that maybe, everything will be alright.

2. Kanav digging into Neena darling! When Neena comes bouncing into their bedroom after her conversation with Kinjal at the beach, Kanav wastes no time in digging into her. He just straight up asks 'where were you and what were you doing?'. He then proceeds to call her on the fact that she is still thinking about doing/already doing other modeling assignments. She tells him to keep out of her professional life and with out missing a beat Kanav tells her, that her professional life is interfering with his personal life. He then mentions his mother and her happiness and that nothing should get in the way of that; his mother should not find out about Neena not being pregnant.

3. Kinjal telling that under no terms will she get this baby. Kinjal has a brain and used it! She actually thought about the father of this baby, most people wouldn't have. She understands that the man who had the insemination done obviously wanted a child; he didn't do it just for the fun of it. She understands that he is out there and would most likely want this child. Its good that she is standing up for the rights of the father; something that is usually over looked in most dramas, not only Indian but all other ones. Good going Kinjal.

Biggest Disappointment of the Week:

Alright guys…this category should be easy. Seeing that this is an Ekta show, disappointments are all over. We love the show and the characters but the thing is, Ekta gives the audience what they what, but on her time table. Often, we don't even get a glimpse of what we want. So here is a list of the most disappointing moments and situations for this past week…which one got you rallied the most?

1. Kanav telling Neena about Urmila's cancer. He had specifically told her that he wouldn't tell anyone about her disease especially Kinjal because of the delicate condition she is in. Yet here he is blabbering everything out to Neena, who is supposed to be Kinjal's best friend. I don't know about you girls, but if something like that happened with my best friend I would tell her; only because it will eventually come out that you knew and didn't tell her, been there done that…don't want to do it again.

2. Neena stooping to all new lows to get what she wants; forget anyone else who gets caught in the middle. She ousted Urmila's cancer to the family; she tried to bargain with Kinjal – your mother's life for your baby! On top of that she makes it seem like she is going to pay for Urmila's treatment out of the goodness of her heart! I mean, when I saw that I wanted to reach in and smack her a few times myself! I mean how heartless can she be. I mean come on, you grew up with these people they are like your family and here you are blackmailing them and stabbing them in the back; she has not even the smallest traces of guilt. With friends like her, who needs enemies?

Shocker of the Week:

Shock and Ekta go hand in hand like Summer and Heat (ok that sounded a lot like an SAT English analogy question…sorry). So here are the shocks for this past week, vote for the one that left you with your mouth gaping open but nothing coming out.

1. Kinjal's resignation letter to Kanav. Were you expecting her to resign so soon? Usually things don't happen so fast; and especially since Kanav himself was supporting her, why did she resign? In usual Ekta shows the boss is a jerk to the secretary/PA and she almost resigns but then she has something to prove…yahaan toh mamla ulta hai.

2. Urmila's cancer raaz coming out into the open in a few days. Now again, this goes back to Ekta and her daily soap mantra. Never in Ekta history have I seen a raaz come out so quickly! Her raaz's drag and drag and drag until she cannot drag it anymore! Here I was thinking that the raaz will be kept under wraps until later, and finally when it comes out it will be around Kinjal's delivery date, and on hearing the news Kinjal will go into labor…so on and so forth. Looks like I have to change my views.
