Poojas & dances = Nonsense

Ekta kapoor has always projected herself as a very religious person & also sports a zillion things in the regard.

She even owns a dhoop manufacturing company which she has always promoted fiercely thru her soaps.

However I was really appalled & surprised as to how can a woman who proclaims herself as a big devotee be so careless & insensitive towards the religious aspects portrayed in her own shows.

The recent Kyunki-Kahani episode I what is the topic here, I am referring to.

The Viranis invited the Aggarwals for the pooja, however as soon as the pooja was over there was song & dance to bollywood numbers.

The Randhel maa pooja used as a reason here was disturbing & disgusting if song & dance was all to be shown in an hour long episode with nothing else.

Couldn't they have made a simple excuse of a party to celebrate Mihir's return as the reason (anyhow a party a week is religiously aired in her shows with no reason many a times)

Randhel maa is believed to be a shaktirupa (a form of goddess Durga) & her pooja is no mean task it's as precise with certain rules & conducts as the 11 day Ganeshutsav & here dances were aired where poojas were conducted

I think ekta better get a good idea of what she actually wants to portray.

She is making a mockery of a religion she herself practices.

You know, I agree. If you're going to do a puja, just do a puja. If you want tp dance, there are plenty of occasions for partying in the Virain family...they're like the Nandas of KA - a party every other day 😆 No need to mix the two and lose the importance of the puja...

Respecting religious aspects is important...if there needs to be a party to celebrate, there could 2 separate shoots... like showing an exclusive Puja in the morning n a casual party in the evening instead of rushing thru' a song n dance party within seconds of completing a Puja.
