Two months ago in Kahaani, Janki Devi became Parvati Aggarawal and entered the Aggarwal household, but not before putting Trishna Aggrawal behind bars. However, Trishna still manages to reveal the bitter truth to Pranay about his birth, which in turn makes him so negative that he even insults his mother Shurti, played by Tina Parekh.
After finding out that he is adopted, Pranay is so shattered that he leaves his newly wed wife Maithili and returns to seek solace in the arms of his ex-girlfriend, Mallishka.
We spoke to Mitu, the creative director of the serial on the love triangle and what is in store. He says, "Pranay comes to know the truth of his birth during his marriage ceremony to Maithili, after which he is so depressed that he leaves her and goes to his friend's house on the same day."
He adds, "Now Pranay has left Maithili and is married to Mallishka creating a very intense love triangle. This will go on for around a month or so depending on the viewers' response."
However, Pranay then gradually realizes that Maithili is helping Pragati (Pranay's sister) who he is very close to, recover from her car accident and his feelings for her begin develop again. Even Parvati is trying to help Maithili get back Pranay from Mallishka. (This better not happen, she better fall for Adi before Parvati mama and Praney move close to her)
Mitu says that he cannot reveal the truth about Pragati's in laws (who believe in black magic) but says that they are the reason why she is in hospital.
Mitu adds, "Pragati comes to know the truth about her in laws. I can't reveal it as this is the biggest twist of Kahaani. The viewers will just have to wait and watch."
