I cannot agree with you more. I invested emotionally in KHKT from the start and it took me awhile to get it out of my system ... it happened when Raima entered the picture. For the past couple of months I stopped watching KHKT completely...would peep in once in awhile...but have been watching Mere dad ki dulhan ...and I LOVE that show...the acting, the storytelling and the pace just fabulous....this is what I had hoped for KHKT ...a slow burn romance...hating each other then figuring each other out...don’t know who ruined it...the channel or the PH...but bosss they killed a golden goose

Absolutely agree..brilliant acting and a slow but engrossing build up..loving MDKD..

Kzk2 is bad than khkt , kzk2 will not end until ekta want ,her show yhm with 1.5 run for 1year and end when ekta wanted she is powerful than othrr producer

Actually Sandeep himself is the creative head of balaji telefilms but still its sad. Kzk is the worst show of 2020 it has too much of anti-socialism and wrong messages.

Yhm at its worst phase and in 6th year on non prime slot at 10.30 pm was bringing 1.5 trps with no focus on leads and was the slot leader and was always at the top before it was moved to 10.30 slot while khkt in its initial phase with one of the best prime time slot is getting trps in the range of 1.6-1.7.

So trps r less for a show at a prime slot which khkt have.

Not only Ekta wanted but SP themselves continued with Yhm for last 1 year inspite of getting 1.5 trps because they were getting profits.

ekta wont end kzk until she has a new show to replace it or she will just start a spin off

YRKKH isn't going to end.... it's going for a leap with yet another kaira separation because.... hold .... karthik decides he doesn't want his rapist brother's to be punished harshly but naira is against him and wants them punished. Yup.... disgusting. Better it goes off air coz complete character butchering of the worst kind is happening in that show and it's just running on separation tracks.

YRKKH hai mein from last 3 yrs Naira-Kartik separation and reunion track is going on. From last 3 yr they are marrying and divorcing each other🤣dont know how many times, Even people will forget the count of their marriage. Problem is that Naira-Kartik has become like a real couple for people they want to watch their journey like their own journey till eternity.

Well, if star plus is shutting its show, then i will support them, and revamp it start doing finite series, with every genre.

This is how I would propose SP get their ratings back:

1. Prime-time slot when most of the viewers are most likely to be watching, air 3-4 of their most typical trp-grabbing high-drama family serials (can't deny these work for indian tv to get max ratings). This will ensure SP have a something that they know is a fail-safe and sure to get high ratings. I think this time is from 7:30pm-9:30pm. This should also involve scrapping some of the current line-ups of these typical type of high-drama family shows that are now slowly sloping down in ratings due to running out of ideas, and instead replace them with brand-new high-drama serials by top production houses. Yeh hai chaahatein is new and running at 7:30 already, so IMO the rest of their shows running from 8:00pm till 9:30pm should be replaced with new serials of this type.

2. After 9:30pm they should air strictly finite series that will only run for a short while that aim at keeping story crisp and exciting. That too, these finite series can all be of different genres to cater to different interests, such as romance, horror, supernatural, youth-based etc. So basically different types of genre to get different audiences in. Don't know about you guys but I'm waiting for the day ITV attempts a crime thriller serial maybe around a serial killer (I got a dark heart so I love stuff like criminal minds and hannibal though I don't expect great stuff like these two shows from itv) or even SP can attempt a college-based youth show at the late-night slots or even weekend.

3. Not a fan of this idea of SP making their serials 6 days a week. Weekends should just consist of reality shows and interesting finite series.

4. Since saath nibhana saathiya went off air, the 7:00pm slot is dead and the shows haven't been working properly. IMO maybe they need to put a show on that slot that has a strong social message and consists of high-drama. Clearly no shows with actual good content will work now on 7:00pm slot. Just the same old saas-bahu shit will work there maybe. EBSS didn't work at that slot at all.

Edit: I live in the uk, so for that reason the timings for some shows I mentioned are off compared to the indian telecasting time.
