I am so sick of this patriarchal, misogynistic SOB! Talk about feeling entitled over someone else's life. Shaadi kar li, to apni poori life tyag degi kya? An ideal marriage is suppose to elevate one's life, create a better support system for one's choices and decisions. An individual never ceases to be an individual, no matter how big of a joint family he/she lives in. HE is the one that needs to broaden his mindset and accept change. He is the one that needs to understand that his DIL belongs to a different career space where things don't work the way he wants.

I don't know why Veena and Sonakshi are not putting their foot down and taking all his crap? There is a limit to which anybody can take someone else's drama in their stride. I think that limit was crossed long time ago with Naren. Taking time to understand someone else's profession is one thing, downright insulting and expecting them to do what you want is another.

I think that's the whole point behind showing this ...how sona deals with it..bec in the past also and present also she is shown to have a lot of respect for her work ..she wont quit , she will fight..let them have their opinion..what matters is sona's choice and she has her husbands support in it..so naren will back off ...rohit told sona that naren is very quick in judging someone so he has to be dealt in a diff way..sona doesn't need to worry ..veena and rohit r therr to handle him n show him the mirror.

He should give ultimatum to naren ..either he wants rohit to stay in sippy family together then naren should agree to.sona profession or rohit will be out on his own ..
