The real face of Media ....

The precap shows real, brutal, ugly, and pervasive face of Indian Media and Indian society. Just a couple of days back DIsha of Hyderabad was raped and burned. The media found out her name real name and it was disclosed mercilessly every where even her photograph was circulating in every media possible. The laws of Indian penal code and CRPC clearly prohibit any one from using the real name of a rape victim. It is to protect the victims family from unnecessary speculation and also from further assaults. Every Media house knew it yet they revealed her name in public. Disha's name was trending on pronographic cites. When we see such things in shows we think it is OTT but a closer look at reality and it will reveal that most of what is shown in shows actually resonates with our society.

Even i was thinking the show is being OTT about the media .

But thank you , your post makes a lot of sense. No family deserves to go through hell for the trps or clicks of these channels ans websites

Off late I have been closely observing media and its role and I can present to you a hoard of cases where media houses, movie production houses have used, twisted, misrepresented and misquoted celebrities and common people alike. Media does have a very ugly face.

I don’t know if the precap is misleading or not, but it literally shaken me, like are they have anything called humanity?

Yes the precap is very much real. Media can go to any bloody extent to get their news toasted. Its all game for them !!! A lot of cases are out which had misleaded people in news and one of them is this !!!

I do not think the show was exaggerating the media in any way. They showed the real thing.

Media indeed is the most disgusting thing ever and I hate the media reporters

They are the most insensitive and brainless creatures. No sense of what to do and when, baas they need the "news". And if you say something to them they will just do something disgusting for revenge. I don't know when these barbaric creatures will grow some sense

Even if the precap is misleading the way the journos behaved is quite real. They are every thing but human in my personal experience they are scavengers. The only thing is that in todays circumstances media can bring about a lot of change in the way the state responds to a situation. it is only for that reason that I tend to give them a leeway but otherwise media is just as bad as it can get.

You know misleading is one thing and breaking laws of the country is another specially in sensitive issues like the one I stated in the opening post.

I am from hyd.def media did wrong .but victim family did not object telling her name and police released her pic to media and media forgot the rules . .police also started talking her real name and media forgot the rules in over enthusiasm.but they were not senseless.they showed concern on victim family .

Blaming media for every thing has become a fashion .

Is media cause of disha rape .

No..the RTO officer though caught the lorry but did not seize it and arrest the driver for driving with out license is the cause .

If he wAs arrested then no rape ..

Media has partiality goes overboard ...no one denies it .

But hate media like any thing and saying it's the most disgusting ever happened is not correct
