Ok I was also very angry with the way things turned out. But after watching the episodes and segments I realised that there are certain things which are like a tiny Ray of light in dark. I realised thateven though KHKT introduced such drama, they somehow managed to stop things from going the complete ITV way. Like they probably did 90% of the drama but the end is apparently going to be different.
1) Even though Sona did leave the mandap and Raima sat on her place thankfully it wasn't Sona's idea. Yes she could have shared her problem with Rohit and I'm still not happy about her not sharing but the way they played out this part..Sona was in alot of pressure from all sides and in such cases our brain stops working and we end up taking hasty and wrong decisions. Alot of times you stop making sense of right and wrong and end up making the mistake of putting alot at risk. Something similar happened with Sona here. She just thought there is a high chance she will be able to manage it all. She didn't know what's going on in Raima and Mahesh's mind and the situation she was in didn't let her doubt anyone's intention.
2) Even after this entire drama Ronakshi are going to get married. Rohit isn't gonna marry Raima and Sonakshi won't be missing for days. They don't postpone the wedding and there is no hospital or coma track of Sonakshi. The kidnapping track also isn't gonna stretch for days and Sonakshi does manage to save herself her own without the male lead going around searching for her. The thing I have always liked about khkt is that they never showed the female lead as damsel in distress and male lead as her knight in shing armour. They have portrayed Sonakshi as a self sufficient woman in every way and I'm glad they stuck to that here as well.
3) I just watched the sbs segment. Yes I did break my self imposed no bts and no segment rule. This track got the better of me...had I not watched those I would have probably had multiple panic attacks by now. So what I gathered was that it's not Raima but Sonakshi under the ghunghat. So that probably means that Rohit didn't do any rituals with Raima but only Sonakshi. He lifts the ghunghat and gets shocked maybe because he notices her wounds. Till this morning I was thinkg that Rohit and Raima will do certain rituals together but apparently that doesn't happen and that made me the happiest. I can't thanks the cvs enough for not doing that. Now how Sona manages to get out of Mahesh's clutches and reach the mandap on time is something we have to wait and watch.
So it's not like I'm not angry or disappointed with certain things. I wish alot of things were carried out differently but I am glad that this show didn't completely got he ITV way. Maybe they had to show this much drama for trp or channel pressure but somehow somewhere they managed to hold on a tiny thread of sanity and right now that seems enough for me. Maybe because my expectations had gone completely down, this seems alot to me or it's just my blind love for Ronakshi but I am not willing to let go off this show yet and trying to find the good in all the bad. I just hope that the future tracks are much better and well executed than the current ones. Khkt has alot of scope and I hope the cvs realise that and give us what they had started out with.
