Don't know the inside story. But from my side I am out from this show. I had seen ankit's previous show. As per my pov he is suitable for villian or negative roles not for positive roles.
As a viewer of khorkuto, when I started watching kkis I was really surprised to know it was Manan's first serial as lead. I had seen many remake shows. Sometimes as a viewer we feel why they are making remakes because we do compare with original actors. But I must say Manan had done justice to his initial character. In some places I felt he was better than OG actor also. (I will not say anything about after marriage character).
All the best to Manan for his future projects 🙂
