TOI:Kali in trouble

Kaali has run into trouble. Fox Telefilms has decided to withdraw their support to the project after the co-producers and the writers of the show voiced a desire to produce it solely. This apparently was a result of creative differences between the production house and the writers.

"Many from the crew have quit. Things are not so smooth on the sets as the technicians and the crew have been halting the shoot post six in the evening since the past four days. They have been demanding for their dues to be cleared as it is the production house that has asked them to leave. There are chances that the show might end soon as the artistes have blocked their dates only till February end. Renewing of contract would only mean a rise in the expenses." Writer and co-producer Mrinal Jha remained unavailable for comment.
