5 Days passed. Gauri and everyone in the house had noticed the difference. Yug was far happier than previous days. The Pandit had asked Gauri to stay away from Yug for 15 days and Daadi made sure Yug didn't even see her shadow. Now this thing was annoying Gauri way too much. She planned to consummate their MARRIAGE, but that wasn't happening.

It was Sharmila's birthday and they had planned to celebrate it at Jha's. Yug looked at his shirts and scratched his head. Choosing shirts was like a big confusion for him. He heard jingle of bangles and smiled. He looked out of the window to see Kali pass from there, wearing an orange saree. He knew why she was wearing orange. He smirked and picked an orange shirt for himself.

The house was decorated and this made Sharmila happy. Seeing her in-laws accepting her made her reconsider her decision of revenge. She was looking at the decorations, when someone covered her eyes. She removed them and turned to see a smiling Yug.

Yug- Happy Birthday Di...

He hugged her. Kali and others followed him and wished her. She threw an angry glance at Kali. Kali went to Manjiri and hugged her.

Manjiri- Aakhir aaj sab thikh ho hi jaayega Kali...

Kali broke the hug and smiled.

Kali- Gauri kahan hai?

Manjiri- Apne kamre mein...

They joined the family members. Gauri came and stood next to Yug, but Daadi pulled her away from him. Sharmila celebrated her birthday by cutting the birthday cake. All were having a great time. No one, except Manjiri, noticed that Kali and Yug wee stealing each other's glances and blushing.

Sharmila- Waise Bhai, orange tumhe bilkul pasand nahi naa, toh aaj mera favorite color ka shirt kaise pehen liya?

Yug looked at Kali. Kali blushed.

Yug- bas aise hi... Maine aapke liye ek surprise prepare kiya hai... Ek minute...

He connected his mobile to the laptop, and with the servant's help, set up the projector. The screen flashed Sharmila's childhood pictures with the family. All looked at the pictures in awe, when suddenly the screen went black. In a few seconds, a video played. It was a recording of Daadi-Gauri's conversation.

Daadi- Tum humare pote se dur raho, bhuji?

Gauri-(angrily) Kyun? Woh mera pati hai!

Daadi- Kaisa pati? Bhool mat, uski shaadi uss Kaali se hui hai... tu bas naam ki bahu hai...

All were shocked to hear this. They looked at Daadi and Gauri in shock.

Vishwaveer(stunned)- Kya yeh sacch hai Gauri?

Gauri stood speechless.

Kali- Hum batate hai sacch Badke papa...

She told everything that had happened with her. Survi, the woman who had helped her that night, came and confirmed the story.

Gauri-(trying to defend herself) yeh sab jhoot...

Before she could continue, Vishwaveer slapped her. Everyone was hell shocked.

Vishwaveer-(disgusted) Yeh humari beti nahi ho sakti...nahi ho sakti...
Madhuri tried to speak, but Vishwaveer stopped her. Daadi tried to defend herslef, but Raghu spoke.

Raghu-(joining his hands) Mujhe maaf kijiye Jha Sahab, meri maa ki wajah se aapki beti ko bahut taqleef hui hai... par we are ready to rectify our mistake... Hum Kali-Yug ki phirse shaadi karenge...

Manjiri- Uski koi zaroort nahi hai...

She handed him a paper.

Raghu- Yeh toh inki marriage certificate hai...

Manjiri- Yug aur Kali ne kal hi court mein shaadi kar li thi...ab woh legally aur ritually married hai ...

She looked at Yug, who went to Kali, held her hand and kneeled on the ground.

Yug- Kali, hum dono ke rishte ne bahut problems face kiye hain... Par jab hum saath hote hain, toh har problem ka solution milta hai hume... Kali, I can't live without you...maine tumhara intazaar 14 years se kiya, aur jab tum mili, I didn't recognize you, jiski wajah se I almost lost you, but it was your love that won today...Humari waise toh shaadi hui hai, par are you ready to be with me for your life time...

Kali smiled and nodded. Yug smiled and stood up. Gauri walked away, frustrated. Sharmila, Neelkhant, Chulbuli, Raghu and Vishwaveer smiled. Kali and Yug went and touched Manjhiri's feet. She blessed them with a smile. After all, finally after 7 days, her daughter had won, her love had won...

Raghu- Ab hume chalna chahiye...

Vishwaveer nodded to give them permission to leave.

~Chaudhari House~

Kali entered Yug's room to see that it was decorated with their pictures. She blushed as she felt his presence next to her.

Yug-(side hugging her) you like it?

Kali-(happily)I loved it...

Yug- Maine tumse promise kiya tha naa, ki Gauri will answer my questions.

*Flashback*

The next day, Yug called the priest and instructed him to lie to Daadi. He purposely got close to Kali to annoy Gauri. His plan worked right and Gauri confronted Daadi. Yug was first shocked and didn't believe that his Daadi would betray him, but Kali helped him overcome the shock. He recorded their conversation and planned to show the recording on Sharmila's birtdhay,

*Flashback ends*

Yug- Toh mera winning gift?

Kali was confused. He pulled her closer to him.

Kali-(blushing) Yug darwaza khula hai, koi dekh lega...

Yug-(rubbing his nose with her nose) Main apni beewi ke saath romance kar raha hoon, is that a crime?

Kali pushed him and went in the room. Yug closed the door and admired her as she looked at every picture keenly, with a cute smile on her face.

Yug- (in trance) Kali, I wish humare life mein yeh paanch din aate hi nahi... I was so close to you, yet so far...

Kali looked at him and smiled.

Kali- Nahi Yug, agar hume aapke pyaar ke liye aur apne haq ke liye nahi lad padta, toh shayaad hum itne strong nahi bante... ki aapki nafrat jhel sake, aapko har dard se protect karne ki shakti hum mein nahi aati...and most important, our love needed a test, and we passed it... Our love won Yug, it won against the society and the rules of the society... (Yug smiled)Thanks Yug, mujhe khud ko pehchanane mein help karne ke liye...

She hugged him and he hugged her back. The moon, in the sky, smiled to see two struggling lovers, blissfully spend the night, in each other's arms.
