Dad asks Kaajjal again if she will marry Ranvir. Kaajjal remembers that Ranvir was the man playing that haunting tune, so she tells Dad she wil agree to marry Ranvir as he seems to be the one she was searching for in India after hearing that tune that haunts her mind! Daadi also agrees she has made a good decision, so Dad goes away to tell Kamayani the good news.
Meanwhile at her house kamayani is looking at some files that Monty has brought for her signature when the call from dad comes. She tells Monty to leave the room and then hears the great news from dad that Kaajjal has consented and she musrt start arranging the engagement ceremony! She shouts to Ranvir to come and hear the good news, and tells ranviir that their saazish has borne fruit finally. She also says this plan should nto come to this dehati Dev's knowledge or he may spoil everything!
Meanwhile Monty has not gone, he is hiding and hearing all this!
Monty goes home to Dev who is playing a sad song on his guitar thinking of all his days with Kaajjal in Punjab. Monty tells Dev about this engagement and when Dev fires up in anger that Kamayani seems to have cheated him and somehow this marriage must be stopped, but Monty says what's the use when Kaajjal herself is forgetting Dev! But Dev is sure he must somehow stop this marriage!
Meanwhile they show thhe engagement ceremony where actually Dev has come in disguise as a waiter and he and Monty are plotting how to get kaajjal alone to talk to her. Just then Dad makes a grand announcement about the marriage and kamayani wquickly tells ranvir to play that tune again to win over Kaajjal completely. He starts playing but when dev hears the tune he gets real mad at this cheating and pinching of his tune. He starts to play another guitar with the same tunme from the tiop of the stairs leading everyonme to utter confusion how he knows the tune that anmvir said he invented!
Kaajjal goes up the stairs to find Dev and others also follow her. There Ranvir accuses Dev of pinching his tune while Dev insists it is his own tune. Dev suddenly with a brainwave then says: "But I played that tune even in Pubnjab where Kaajjal heard it when Ranvir was not there! And I also played it on the Ganpatiphule beach before Ranvir got there!" That stumps everyone.
Dad meanwhile starts shouting to his guards to throw Dev out6 but Kaajjal tells him more politely to please go away! She has nothing more to say to him!
But Dev goes on to say Kaajjal that she has come to India with a dream and that he is only her dream and destination on which Kaajjal again starts crying as if her heart wants to believe him but still she tells Dev that he is lieing and now she can never trust him;Dhanraj too tells Dev that if he can betray Kaajjal once then he can do it again and again and so whats the gurantee that he is telling the truth this time;Dev keeps on pleading in front of Kaajjal to believe him just once but Kaajjal tells her father that she doesn't want to see Dev in front of her eyes anyway and so Dhanraj again orders his guards to throw Dev out of the house;The Gurads as usual does the throwing business and throws poor Dev out of the house;Meanwhile the Engagement takes place with Ranveer putting the engagement ring on Kaajjal's finger and kaajjal too putting the ring on Ranveer's finger even though her hand was shaking while putting the finger;After the engagement everyone claps out there while Dev could hear all the claps from outside the house and cries his heart out in pain and agony when the Episode ends.
Priview:Dev in a lifeless manner is walking on the road when a car comes from behind comes in full speed and hits him strongly due to which Dev flies in the air and lands down at the corner of the road while the car just passes away without even stoping
