Hey Kaajjalians,
After reading the article about Apu quitting the show..i am full of admiration and respect for him. I respect him more now as an actor and a human being. He did what i wished he should do ever since the serial turned boring with the introduction of ML track of Kaajjal and introduction of Adi and all and also ever since they started killing the romance in the serial. I was always wondering how much more they would mess up the serial.😭
I always wished that Apu should be doing a far more beautiful role and not doing the role of a man drunk and going to the verge of murder. Apu is so much talented in essaying romantic characters and in roles like that of Armaan Suri, Dev and Raju Rangeela.😳
I love to see him in roles which hold more potential for him to act. I want him to play a more centralised role...like that of Armaan Suri in JJKN...where he showed his talents as a great actor. Ever since Adi's character entered the serial...the romance was amiss from the show..though it returned for a while...in the one week of Dev and Kaajjal's wedding and upto first night. Then once again..the romance was gone and Shreya's started turning Dev's character into an obsessive and possesive... drunken husband who wanted to murder his wife. 😭
As far as Dev's character has been portrayed in the beginning... he was not the kind of man who would kill anybody or even think of killing anybody. He was very caring, kind-hearted, dignified, romantic and though at times arrogant..yet totally lovable and adorable.😳
He didn't even think of killing Karan or Ameesha who were responsible for the death of NT. I was unable to take this new twist added to Dev's character of him being so rough with Kaajjal and his thinking of killing Kaajjal which is totally unrealistic, as far the character of Dev is concerned. At that moment, i started wishing that Apu should quit this serial as early as possible.😛
Jyoti, yaar.. just two days back or so...when you made the funny post about how Apu, Surveen and Kaccon sethi were planning together thinking of going on adding stories of movies...i mentioned that Apu's dialogues were not correct and hope you remember...that i corrected them and made the dialogues...and in most of the parts... i showed Apu as totally bugged up and he was going on saying about quitting the show in every sentence.😆
Maybe my inner soul...felt that Apu was about to quit the show or some kind of intuition and that was why i added such dialogues. It could also be that i felt from Apu's face in the recent episodes...somewhere within that he was not much interested in continuing with the serial after the track has been messed up in such a bad way. 😛
But surely i wanted Apu to quit this show from the time they started separating Dev and Kaajjal bringing Adi and all. I felt that maybe Apu won't quit it immediately because of Kaccon Sethi's request and all. But somewhere within i felt that being a very professional matter-of-fact person and an actor who wanted to essay a role with some realism and essence in it...Apu would quit the show sooner or later. He wouldn't tolerate any nonsense twists in the serial and would quit sooner or later and i was right about Apu.😳
Now I am happy that Apu took such a decision to quit the show. I know how Shreyas' would handle the serial...ever since i saw the way they took the serial 'Ek Ladki Anjani Si' and ever since then..I just wished that Apu don't stay longer in this serial and waste his talents in a serial with too less of realism and too much of twists and turns.
Being a really loyal and huge fan of Apu, i admire him more now...for quitting the serial... before they ruined the character of Dev and Kaajjal...even more...with adding a lot of unwanted behaviours from them.
I totally feel that he is really a bold person, because many other actors working for Shreya productions are still continuing to act in the serials even after the serial has totally gone down the drain and there is too much of nonsensical and unrealistic scenes added to it.
I feel that Apu is a lot more bolder than them and he is not the kind of actor who would work just for the sake of money. For him...the storyline and the characterisation is also equally important and i realised this now after i heard about his decision to quit the show.😳
Apu...i admire you a lot and now i would say that you are a completely logical and sensible person, a fabulous actor and a good human being.👏
Hats' off to you for quitting Kaajjal and helping us all backing off from going through more torture in the form of more twists and turns and separations and new character entries in the serial. You really took a very bold decision and i support you completely on this decision.👏
I would quit watching Kaajjal as soon as Apu quits the show and i just wish to say in this post that Apu...now i like you a lot more as a person and i am proud to be your fan..because you are a very sensible actor and you are not the kind of actor who would do anything for the sake of money...you are the kind of actor..who knows it when the story loses its grace and you decided to stop doing the role..when you realised that the track was going so boring and that your talents are getting wasted.😛
I surely feel that every good artist should do exactly what Apu did and should learn from Apu as an actor. They should respect art and should not compromise their talent for the sake of money or fame. Artists shouldn't work in a project..be it a serial or movie..just for the sake of money but they should do it with the intention to entertain the audience as well as for personal satisfaction and Apu did exactly the correct thing by deciding to quit the serial...when the story was getting all messed up.😳
So Kaajjalians, I am totally relieved at this point, thanks to our dear Dev Prathap Singh aka Apu.😳 Because i was going through a lot of torture...watching Dev's character going through so much of torture and now with Apu's quitting the show...i too can stop watching the show..because after this Shreyas will continue the show with some new actors who are willing to act in the serial..inspite of the numerous twists and turns and all.😛
But for me Apu's quitting the serial= my quitting watching the serial.
😳 Apu........just want to tell you that after you took the decision to quit the serial, I admire you even more and just wish to see you in a new serial..in a new role and i would continue to watch you in your new roles because now i trust you totally as a sensible actor and will remain your loyal fan always.
