Om Jai Apu Deva

Hello my Dear Bhootnis!!!

Well, its about 4:30 AM here, and where my partner in crime is...ahem, Nupur...its about 3:30 AM....

And, Sharna, Nupur, and I have been discussing Apurva for the last...approximately 6 hours...

As you can probably imagine, our Apurva fever has risen to unprecidented heights...and, as a result of this fever, one thing led to another, and we ended up discussing standing outside in the rain, singing bhajans for none other than our Dear Sweet Apurva.

So then, Nupur's brain started working overtime, and she pitched an idea to me...

We together, decided to write a bhajan for Apurva so that we (Nupur, Sharnu, and I) could indeed go stand outside Apu's house in the middle of a monsoon, and sing to him of our love and devotion.

The result of all this madness, is below...😉

Om jai Apu Deva...swami jai apu deva....

apni Deewaniyo ke sankat....shann mein door kare......

Om jai Apu Deva...

Jo Dekhe phal paave, chain mile mann ka....

Dil ka sukoon tum mein hai, Pyaas mite tumse,

Om jai Apu Deva....

Dev armaan tum mera, puja karu mein jiske....

tum bin aur na dooja....pyaar karu mein jiske...

om jai Apu Deva.....

Tum hamare bhagwan ho....tum hamare swami....

Hamari nayya par lagaoo, o please hamare swami.

Om Jai Apu Deva......

Tum karuna ke sagar, hum se pyaar kar lo.

Mein hoon Apu deewani, mujh ko shaadi kar lo

Om Jai Apu Deva......

Apu/Armu/Dev banke, tum arazoo hamare

Apne haath uthao, Apu hath badhao, dwaar pade hum tumhaare,

Om jai Apu Deva

Ab ye pyaas mitaao, humaarein paas aa jaao,

Hum karein tumhari seva

Om jai Apu Deva...

TAN man..but not dhan sab kuch hai tera,

tera tujh ko aarpaan, kya hai ab mera

om jai Apu Deva..

Apurva ki aarti jo koi deewani gaye....

kahate hai woh swarg lok jaaye...

Om jai Apu Deva.....

So my pyaari bhootni's, from two Apu Devi's, to all of you Apu Devotees...remember - "apu ki aarti jo koi deewani gaye...voh swarglok jaaye" so, start the bhajan session and ENJOY! 😃

Okay, thats it, we got the APU BHAJAN now, i'll print out three copies for us, so we can sing along, and print three tickets for Mumbai, and we're on our waaaay! 😃 😃

APU!! HERE WE coME!!! GET READY! Hope its raining when we land, or how else our plan succed?

Sing infront of Apus house, he comes out with an umbrella greeting us. Hearing our great BHAJAN, he'll welcome us to his home. We three faint right there, and then have Apu carry the three of us into him home 😍 Okay, here is proof that we've gone insane 😆 😆

Oh, and I forgot to add, its almost 5 now. Our minds are working extremely overtime at this point

Glad you liked it sharna....you have no idea how much fun we were having....but imagining us 3 singing it really cracked me up.....not to forget the rain....😆

I hope its raining cats and dogs - u know, the full monsoon effect - then atleast if Apu isn't moved by our bhajan or impressed with us at all, he'll take pitty on the 3 poor unfortunate souls stuck out in the monsoon, and will invite us in! 😆
