Dev is completely heart broken at this thought. He will want to leave, but Aditya, Sonia and his mom will stop him. With heavy insistence, they will manage to keep him until the wedding. Dev will drown himself in drinking, for we know our DPS, he won't say a single word, will just drink and drink. Wo kehtay hain na

And Kaajjal will be happy in the wedding preps. They will cross each other's paths quiet a few times, but Dev will be very shattered. He will let her go gracefully, for by now he had already tried everthing possible to convince her to go with him, but all in vain.
And finally the marriage day is here. They are in their havaeli, the own Aditya was talking about, that he can have mom stay there. The wedding will commence there. All of the sudden Kaajjal will start feeling sad. She is sitting as a bride in front of the mirrior, and gets a weak flashback of her own self when she was dressed in a bridal outfit last time, and she holds her head. Just then sonia comes in.
"bhabi, kya baat hai, are you ok,"
"yes I am fine" Kaajjal says without any expression.
"kya aap khush nahi hain," sonia asks for she can see this pain on her face.
"nahi, I am very happy" Kaajjal almost lies, for she herself is not able to understand her feelings and her sadness. And sonia leaves smilingly.
"please show me the way Gannu bhaiyya, please. Why am I not happy, what is wrong with me. dil main ajeeb sa ehsaas hai. Aaj meri shadi hai, aur mujhay kuch panay ka nahi kuch khonay ka ehsaas ho raha hai." she has tears in her eyes – unintentional, unknown.
Scene change
Dev is in one of the rooms at the upper floor of the haveli. He has immersed himself in heavy drinking. For at this time that is his only way out. How will he see his Kaajjal taking phera's with another man. How will he witness this agony and pain, how will he witness another man putting sindoor in Kaajjal's mang … the girl he had worshipped and loved more than her life. 'Kaajjal sirf meri hai, sirf meri," he says aloud with the same passionate and determined look on his face. "main Kaajjal ko kisi aur ka nahi honay doon ga" and all of the sudden the determination of his face is replaced by helplessness and pain, and he starts crying. He picks up his cell phone and sees at Kaajjal photo which he had taken one of the days when she was in the garden playing with goats. "mujahy itni bari saza na do Kaajjal, main mar jaaon ga tumharay baghair." His tears are rolling down, (we are seeing Dev break like this for the first time). "main nay bohat dair kar di Kaajjal, bohat dair." He is weeping, all the time eyes locked on Kaajjal'sphoto. "magar tum nay mera intezaar bhi nahi kiya? thora intezaar tu karti Kaajjal. Main zameen aasmaan aik kar daita tumhain dhoondnay kay liyay, apnay Dev pay itna yaqeen tu karti. Mujhay chor kay na jao Kaajjal, main kaisay jeeon ka tumharay baghair. Kaisay???" he is crying, drunk and crying. oh what pain, what agony, he throws his head back on the sofa and holds his hair tightly in his fingers, almost pulling it with pain. "magar main tumhari khushi kay raasaty main nahi aaoon ga Kaajjal. main nay bohat koshish ki, lekin agar Aditya hi tumhari khushi hai tu main tumhari khushi ka ehtraam karoon ga Kaajjal." he is talking to himself. "mera kya hai, mujhay tu aadat hai dard kay saath jeenay ki, lagta hai upper wala meray naseeb main khushian likhni bhool gaya hai …."and at this he looks up as if he is talking to God himself, "kuin bhool gayay mujhay khushian daina, aik Kaajjal hi tu mangi thi main nay lekin aap nay wo bhi nahi di. Bas aap meri Kaajjal ko khush rakhna, ab yehi dua mangta hoon aap say." And once again he looks at Kaajjal's photo and his eyes are just too heavy with drinking and crying.
Scene Change
Marriage is in progress. Kaajjal is sitting in the mandap with Aditya, but her eyes are looking for someone. 'Who am I looking for?' she asks herself, and her heart silently answers – DEV. She almost freaks out at this answer, "what the hell is wrong with me, I am sitting in a mandap and I am looking for another man.' She scolds herself, 'but where is Dev?' her heart is just not ready to listen to any thing today. He is nowhere to be seen. She is still looking for him, wondering where he is, and the pandit starts the mantars. 'O my God, I have heard that before, I have been through this before,' she closes her eyes, and gets instant flashes of her previous marriage. Flashes of her self in bridal dress, walking down the stairs, flashes of NT, flashes of Panna Chachi, Nandani, flashes of pandit ji reading mantars. Kaajjal is confused, who are these people, I am getting a vision of. Do I know them? He mind is racing at a speed of light and she is getting many flashes, and there she sees the man walking down the steps. He is drunk – so drunk kay aik qadam bhi sahi nahi par raha. Kabhi idhar kabhi udhar, looks like he can't make out where the next step is. He is lost in his agony and torture of the moment and Kaajjal can sense it. All of the sudden more flashes start coming to her …. Kaajjal in masoorie, Kaajjal meeting Dev for the first time at cliff, Kaajjal saying sorry to Dev after radio city interview, Dev coming for Kaajjal's rescue in jail, dev in front of her when she wakes up after the accident, Dev dancing with her on her birthday, she drying Dev's hair with towel, Dev and her at lodhi, they at cliff and she is saving Dev, they in each others arms, Dev setting her dupatta at mandir, Dev lifting her in his arms, Dev holding sindoor out to her in mandir, Dev trying to jump off the terrace to prove himself, Dev in that rainy day holding her, Dev at their wedding day, NT's death, Dev throwing her out of the house, she running after his car …. And there Kaajjal's face is a complete picture of shock and disbelief. She is getting it all back, and there she sees dev, not able to control his balance and falls down the stairs. And booooommmmmmm, kaajjal immidiately starts shouting,
"dev, dev , dev .... " she is hysterical. She stands up and starts running towards dev like crazy, her knot tied with adi breaks loose. Dev is falling down the stairs, and she is running towards the man she had loved like God. Dev comes falling on the floor, and she reaches him right then, and take his face in her hands,
"dev, utho dev, dev utho...." she is crying madly, shouting ever word. Everyone is shocked at this sudden change of events. Aditya is standing there like a statue and his mom, Soni, raghav, everyone is completely shocked.
"koee doctor ko bulao, meray dev ko bacha lo, meray dev ko bacha lo." Kaajjal is screaming with Dev's head in her laps, and holding his face. Dev still has some conscious, and he sees his Kaajjal holding him, and crying out his name and his eyes closes – unconscious.
"Dev nahi, Dev, Dev…. Dev utho, main tumhain kuch nahi honay doon gi Dev. aankhain kholo Dev, dekho tumhari Kaajjal tumhain bula rahi hai… Dev utho please .… koee doctor ko bulao," and she completely breaks down. Her mind has just woken up from a long sleep and all of the suddent this shock, she is completely worn out. She look up and sees everyone, she can't recognize anyone. Where are we, who are these people, but she will think about it later, right now, Dev needs attention. Aditya at seeing this runs towards Dev and holds him, "don't worry, we'll take him to hospital." and he and raghav takes Dev to the car. Kaajjal runs after them and sits with Dev, holding his head and supporting him. Aditya looks at this and is still surprised, but he gets an idea that Dev is the same man who she must have loved. May be she has her memory back.
They take him inside, and the nurse stops them,
"Fill the form first. Who is he and what is the relation, write everything."
"We don't have time, he needs attention," Kaajjal is hysterical,
"who are you?" the nurse asks,
"I am Mrs. Kaajjal Dev Pratap Singh, his wife." And Aditya gets a shock of his life. He is heart broken, but he takes it gracefull at the moment.
"Kaajjal aap form fill kar dain, I'll get him admitted." And Kaajjal looks at him with thankfulness and turns around to fill the form. 'who is he?'a questions echos in her mind.
Kaajjal is walking in the hallway, up and down, here and there, completely restless, and Aditya witnesses it in silence.
"He is fine, just needs rest." The doctor finally informs and Kaajjal sighs a breath of relief. "Doctor kya main in say mil sakti hoon" she asks,
"waisay aap in ki kaun…?" Doctor says,
"main in ki …. Ummm … main in ki patni hoon, Kaajjal Dev Pratap Singh."
"O sure, than who am I to stop. Waisay he is unconscious, but if you want, you can go inside" and Kaajjal goes inside the room to her Dev - the man who has loved her sooooo much and whom she had loved like crazy.
