A picture of Dev, the master, the hard, the suave businessman standing there sporting a dark rugged stubble, joining his hands in front of none other than Kaajjal's Gannubhaiya. with a simple vinamra request on his lips, and his beloved's red aanchal floating from his hands.............
"Aaj mein aapke dar par sirf ek binti lekar aaya hoon, Kaajjal ko meri zindagi mein waapas bhej dijiye".... A simple statement, no frills, no drama....with the mandir diyaa swaying furiously, but still burning with the hope that is still so much alive in his eyes, shining......the leaves flying around and the vedic chants of Gannubhaiya so strongly heard but his request is loud and clear.
"Aaj tak jab bhi maine aapke saamne sar jhukaaya hain aksar mujhe sirf thokar hi khaane ko mili hain...agar aaj, aaj aapke pyaar aur meri Kaajjal ki zindagi ka sawaal hain." Another simple statement. Its more like a statement than an ardaas, which Gannubhaiya has to listen to. He has no other option but to grant him his wishes!!
"Aaj aapko meri binti sun ni hi hogi" -with wisps of his hair flying across his forehead, eyes moist with tears of love and bhakti and strong belief, not in Ganubhaiya, but because he is Kaajjal's Gannubhaiya!!! Apu at his another silent-best.... And then with just a small movement of closing his eyes another typical Apu action!! Tightly shutting them as if urging Gannubhaiya with all his mental powers and energy "Sun ni hi hogi Gannubhaiya".......
There is like a silent but strong urging from Dev to Gannubhaiya. Strong vibes which only Gannubhaiya hears and then there his blessing........ Here again Apu's facial expressions are strong and vibrant. Eyes sending those poerful positive vibes which only he is capable of .........
Dev's precious aanchal flies from his hands with a strong puff of the wind.....and caring less for his own safety he turns and with the only aim of catching the only thing of Kaajjal that he now has, runs down the steps, fast, and reaches it just as it drops on the ground and he jumps unthinking into that goatbrain's path!!! More worried about the precious aanchal being soiled or dirtied, than his getting hurt.
Brilliant and another superb masterpiece given by Apu!!! Reminds me of that first encounter Dev had with Gannubhaiya when Kaajjal went into a coma!!π³
